Monterey is a steakhouse but has something for everyone - including vegetarians!
The restaurant is clean, classy, and beautiful. To drink, I loved the Bittersweet Citrus Spritz (very similar to an aperol spritz) which is featured on the menu at their sister restaurant, Acadia (also a huge fan).
To eat, the Comte Onion Bread is a must. The Truffle Lasagna is a delicious vegetarian option, I would have loved to have had more of that yummy truffle sauce on it however.

(Excellent atmosphere and staff. Had the oysters, shrimp and grits (head on) apps. Very good. NY Strip entree was pretty good. Only served with a jus. Needed bernaise or au poive sauce. Seared tuna on roasted cauliflower was better but very simple and no sauce. Side of brussel sprouts were under cooked in middle (deep fried). Chocolate ganache cake was great. Sorbets refreshing. It was very loud and echoey in there with the crowd and open kitchen. Great event spaces upstairs....
Monterey burger - average
Szechuan chicken - meat was very dry
Service - not attentive, hard to flag the waiters down
Price - okay for the ambience
