Good food but poor service, servers not paying attention. Ignored my request for water, ignored my request to open separate checks for the table. Not going back
The food is mostly bland and does not cater to Indian taste ,the papad and chutney were good and tandoori chicken was decent but everything else is lacking in flavour
No good service foods are very bad

We had a great experience! The food was authentic and truly excellent and service was prompt, polite and attentive. Our vote for best Indian on the UES, and we've tried them all.
I ate here a year ago and the lamp chops were amazing, so I was excited to have them again. Unfortunately this time, the breading was soggy and there was a weird after charred taste. The table was so crowded, but they left the chargers on the table and didn't even think to remove them to make room for new dishes. Service was slow. The potato-filled bread was terrific. That was the one highlight in an average meal.
Chef Gaurav Anand does it again! Excellent all around! Go to spot for a nice date or celebratory dinner.
The food was average and didn’t quite meet expectations for the price. The portion sizes were smaller than anticipated, especially considering the cost. Additionally, rice wasn’t included with the curries, which is typically standard at other Indian restaurants.
The service fell short, as the waitress was frequently unavailable, forcing us to get up multiple times to place or follow up on our orders. The waitress was always on her phone.
Unfortunately, the meal also caused some digestive issues afterward, which contributed to the disappointing experience. Based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Everything was great. My only complaint is that the food came out five minutes after it was ordered. There is a difference between good service and rushed service. But, all in all, this restaurant is quite good and worth visiting.

A classic take on Indian food. We started with the dahi kebabs, not really where the dahi was but it was a ghee roasted and pretty tasty! The saag paneer was AMAZING, one of the best saag paneer I’ve had in a while. The garlic naan was decent, I wish it had more garlic on it and was a little bigger. The paneer makhani was also a standard taste, nothing to write home about.
Service was friendly and ambiance is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart which I appreciate.

Great experience - great food (chicken special, naan, lassi). Vibe was super chill and calm. Underrated for sure. Sagar was our waiter and phenomenal - he was very attentive and kind and made sure we had a great night! Give them a try, we will return!
