I’ve been a loyal customer of Motorino Pizza in the East Village for years. I used to love their clam pizza and always brought friends here. But after my recent experience, I won’t be coming back.
While eating the clam pizza, I bit into several hard, sharp pieces of clam shell baked right into the slice. It was painful and dangerous — I nearly cracked a tooth. For a place that prides itself on quality, this was completely unacceptable.
What made it worse was how the situation was handled. I called a few days later to report the issue, hoping they’d show some concern or offer to make things right. Instead, I was met with complete indifference. No apology, no offer to help, nothing.
It’s really disappointing to be treated this way after years of being a loyal customer. I can’t recommend this place anymore — and I definitely won’t be returning.

Embarrassing establishment. Came in for takeaway and got treated like I was bothering them just by existing. The staff were nasty, snappy, and full of attitude for no reason. They couldn’t even get a simple order right — gave me cold, sloppy food like they just threw it together to get rid of me. Zero pride in what they do. Honestly, I don’t know how this place is even still open. Total disgrace. Never stepping foot here again.

Absolutely pathetic. Easily the worst brunch experience I’ve ever had in NYC. The staff were rude, careless, and acted like they couldn’t care less about their customers. They delayed our order forever and when the food finally showed up, it was cold and disgusting. Total joke. No professionalism, no respect — just pure incompetence. Save your money and avoid this dump at all costs.
