Amazing staff and hospitality. My dish was a little heavy on the spice and I just casually mentioned it when asked how everything was, not expecting much of a reaction. They truly went above and beyond to rectify the situation and ended up providing a superb dining experience. Highly recommend this local spot with great atmosphere and very nice music

Such a great experience! I had my birthday dinner there for a large party of 18 people and Alessandro and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and incredibly nice! I got to pick items off of their menu to create my own pre fixe menu for the group and we were able to do family style and try everything. The food was absolutely incredible and the restaurant is such a beautiful space. Thanks again, will be back!!

I stayed at Mr Capri's and felt really at home. The eggplant parmesan had the scent and taste of true tradition, the fried burrata with ham was irresistible and the spaghetti alla Nerano immediately brought me back to the flavors of the island. Genuine food, warm atmosphere and impeccable Service: for me one of the best restaurants in New York, a must-see!

We had a delightful dinner at this Italian restaurant in New York City. Everything was delicious: eggplant appetizer, octopus appetizer, calamarata, pasta estiva. The service was friendly and helpful (grazie, Anna, José, and Alessandro!).

The attention to detail here outshines most other places. Their ingredient selection is quality with ample serving sizes. This spot has geographic advantage and good vibes. Every employee here shows remarkable emotional intelligence. The employees are accommodating, the spot is tidy and I intend to return.
My wife and I stopped in at Mr. Capri by chance one night in October 2024. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the food as much as the bartender - lovely guy, great drinks. The food was outstanding and I have wanted to go back ever since that night. The only downside was that I left my hat on the seat next to me. Fast forward to July 2025 and we finally returned to Mr. Capri. We weren’t three steps in when the bartender says “you’re back, I have your hat!” True story. He came around from the bar and hugged us like old friends. The owner remembered our chat from last time and even the town we lived in. Once again, the drinks and food were amazing. I love this place so much. Believe what everyone says. It’s a rare west village gem and I can’t wait to go back again and again and again.

I came here many times but tonight had the chance to meet and have a great talk with Alessandro the owner that is from Capri for real!! Cristina at the bar was amazing as usual and the food amazing. I had spaghetti al pomodoro and mozzarella in carrozza....UNFORGETTABLE!+++ I was surrounding by amazing people and great friends. Definitely a place to visit even for a coffe and desert or just to spend some great time at the bar with Cristina drinking a good Aperol Spritz
