I eat out 3-4 nights a week at white tablecloth restaurants. When I am reserved at Mr. Chow's salivary glands come alive prior to the dinner. The is due to the fact the door is so delicious and wholesome. Also, the decor is stunning and there is always a vibrant , sophisticate clientele . Part of the reason is the excellent management and service of Sonja and Angie.
The food was delicious but the menu was a bit difficult to understand. For four ladies our bill was over $800.00 (with tip). We had food to take home (one of the group was local - the other three from out of state). The service was amazing and the ambiance was very enjoyable. But an “order as you go” would have better for us. Our last course was the best I've ever had. It was Peking duck and it was phenomenal. We'd definitely go back but we'd order differently.
The service was excellent. The flavors were amazing and all food was expertly prepared and served hot (which is often a pet peeve when the food arrives warm). Can't wait to return...
