I recently ordered takeout from Mrs. A Thai near 95th Street, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was packed well, still warm when I got to it, and filled with vibrant flavors that truly showcased Thai cuisine.

The Som Tum salad was an absolute winner crisp, refreshing shredded green papaya tossed with chili, lime, garlic, fish sauce, and a touch of palm sugar. The balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and salty flavors was spot on, making each bite incredibly satisfying.

The Tom Yum soup was another highlight. The broth was rich and aromatic, infused with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, chili, and fish sauce. The combination of tangy lime juice and the warmth of Thai chilies gave it just the right amount of heat, making it both comforting and invigorating.

I also tried the Mee Kati, which featured thin rice noodles coated in a creamy, slightly tangy coconut tamarind sauce. The dish was loaded with scallions, bean sprouts, red onion, tofu, and egg, creating a great mix of textures. While I enjoyed it, I found myself wishing it had a bit more spice and a deeper, more robust flavor to make the sauce stand out.

The only disappointment was the roti and curry. The roti lacked the flaky, buttery texture I was hoping for, and the curry itself was a bit bland, missing the rich, aromatic depth I usually expect from Thai curries.

Despite that, the takeout experience was great, and I will definitely be back for the Som Tum, Tom Yum, and Mee Kati—maybe next time, I’ll ask for an extra spice kick!

I usually order delivery from here all the time, but today I decided to stop by and eat at the restaurant. It is lovely! Always great food, and today accompanied by nice light jazz playing in the background and the breezy wind coming in. I will definitely be back soon!

Simple works

MRS. AN Thai is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to jump up and scream "อร่อย!"—which means "delicious" in Thai—because the food here is truly that good. From the moment you take your first bite, you know you’re in for something special. The flavors are bold, authentic, and utterly irresistible.

The highlight of the meal has to be the barbecue chicken. It's nothing short of fantastic, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The chicken is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor in every bite. You’ll find yourself licking your fingers and savoring the taste long after the meal is over—this is the kind of food that stays with you, in the best possible way.

The rest of the menu is equally impressive, with dishes that capture the essence of Thai cuisine. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, ensuring that the flavors are balanced and authentic. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, fresh salads, or rich noodle dishes, there’s something here that will make your taste buds sing.

If you’re in the area, MRS. AN Thai is an absolute must-visit. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the experience is one you won’t soon forget. Highly recommend!

Great home cook style meals. Food is delicious. One of the best and authentic Thai restaurants in the area I've tasted. The servings are generous for the price. My family regularly eats here. :-)
