very bad treatment

Ran in on a cold afternoon for a sandwich - I ordered the turkey. Unfortunately the sickly looking tall man behind the counter was rubbing his herpes sore before making the sandwich with bare hands. Glad I caught it and didn’t eat!

The worst latte ever.

Terrible costumer service and coffee quality, extremely rude. There were no costumers when we went and now we see why.

We were sitting in doors and having our drinks. They asked us to leave without any explanation while others were sitting at their tables.

The place burned their espresso shot when making a cappuccino. The manager said that it wasn’t possible that the coffee was bad. He said he was European so it was a little surprising that they didn’t know how to make good coffee. He also happened to be rude.

In the end we got tired of arguing with him so we tossed the coffee. Hoping he uses the $7 towards buying a book about how to pull espresso shots.

Order a Cappuccino the coffee was burned. I’m not the kind of person who complains but we asked if there was an option to replace it and the waiter became excessively aggressive. Basically called us liars.
They also messed with the order of the person who ordered before us.

Favorite bakery in the UWS. Well priced, great pastries, and above all, extremely charming. I hope it never changes.

This is the prime example of why its important to hire people who are used to and comfortable with serving certain people instead of just hiring anyone with open availability. The community in this area including the workers at businesses in the area are used to a high level of customer service. This wasnt it at all.

Came about an hour until closing. Purposely chose this cafe as it was a small business and because they had seating because I had to deal with minor family emergency via email. Cafe decided to close up 40 minutes early and spent the 20 actual minutes I was there yelling at staff members to move and throwing chairs around. If you are closing early, just say that up front rather than making the whole experience unpleasant to “chase the customer out.”

I would have just gone somewhere else to spend my money (which I ended up having to do eventually ).

Food was ok, but a little bit dry. Drinks were a bit pricy (but fine if you can sit and drink them). Other stuff looked decent though.
