We are from Atlanta and were searching for a great Indian restaurant and boy did we find one. Roman, Joseph, Ragini, and Kevin were the absolute best. They were so sweet and and had the best raita I have ever had. We ordered the chicken 65, korma, tikka masala, and Chettinad. Every single one of the dishes we ordered were some of the best we have ever had and we have had dozens of different restaurants’ recipes. This is a MUST in NYC if you are here. Located right off the Brooklyn Bridge in the financial district i wouldn't recommend another Indian restaurant over this one. Could mot recommend enough. I took pictures of the dessert a little too late ?
Listen, I really like this place I think their biriyani is exceptional. Just some feedback, I found a long strand of hair in my biriyani which is offputting. Could the chefs please put on hairnets while they’re cooking? Thank

I saw several comments from people who were there and who don't like spicy food, it would be the same as a vegan going to a steakhouse, the place is really simple but the food that was served to us was delicious

Every once in a while, I try a new to me restaurant near work as a treat. Today I went to Mughlai Indian Cuisine and had a samosa, naan, dal, and curry goat over basmati rice. Deeeeeeelicious! In fact, the first bite of the curry goat was an amazing flavor explosion! My eyes widened and I couldn’t help but smile and exclaim “mmmmm!!!” One of the restaurant workers noticed my little moment and smiled large, looking very pleased that I was so very happy. I gave him two thumbs up from across the restaurant and he looked even more proud. Prior to today, I don’t believe I’ve tried dal. I didn’t know if I was supposed to eat it like a soup, pour it over the rice, or dip the naan in it. My waiter kindly and respectfully explained that I could do any of the above, but that most folks dip the naan in it. I went shortly after 12pm on a beautiful autumn Wednesday and was seated immediately. My food came out quickly, but I didn’t feel rushed. I ordered a lunch special, was completely satiated (and took some naan and dal home), and it cost $21 before tip. Very reasonable for Manhattan! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean, smells amazing, and they had sort of a chill down tempo Indian music playing. The ambiance was great. I was so happy with my experience that I immediately texted my coworkers that they HAVE to try Mughlai. I look forward to my next visit.
I have ordered delivery from here quite a few times. Admittedly, I am a basic b**** and order the chicken tikka masala exclusively... but I love it! My boyfriend also likes the lamb vindaloo, but unfortunately my poor stomach can NOT handle the heat (disastrous consequences). The portions are generous enough that I can usually make two meals out of it. Always a solid choice when you're hankering for some Indian food.

This food! We went here twice. It is really, really good, and the prices are normal as the amount of food you get. If you like indian food, defently go there. It can be a little busy at times, then the food will take some time but its worth to wait for!
