Total let down - have been to this iconic spot before, and getting rid of the back area and archway took away all its charm. This is supposed to be a cool, historic spot, now it’s just a dump with a huge cigar humidor and tacky Sopranos decal on the mirror. None of those characters would be caught hanging out in a place like this. Service was dismal - person behind the bar admitted he didn’t know how to pour a beer.

Many memories over the decades visiting NYC. Always like to see the photo of Frank enjoying himself with friends at this very bar. On this recent visit the place has changed dramatically. No more iconic archway to the back restaurant. Progress I guess but that’s a shame. Still nice to visit this time with my daughter.

Came here on vacation was super excited was checking out stuff in the window first as my friend has been watching the show. The girl straight up looked at my REAL Connecticut ID yellow star and everything (I’m 22 but I have tattoos and it’s obviously me on my ID and uhm it’s real) told me it was fake mind you I’m sitting there on mulberry street late at night with tattoos and adult friends. It made no sense she was completely rude told us they had no card scanner or any way to prove it was my real id. It was either discrimination or a terrible management plan as to how to check ids. Really put a damper on my time and she was so incredibly rude about it I will NEVER try to go there again.

We were nervous when we sat down as it had chairs stacked up and it didn't seem fully open and the bartender was also the cook. But the music was great and the food was delicious. We had pasta, salads, wings and burgers.

This place is super cool. Sunday brunch, margs, great bartender, excellent downtown scene. It’s got all you need.
Great service great atmosphere . Mike at the front door was a great personality. Bartender Carlo was great. Awesome food great service 10/10

We came here before a dinner reservation to waste some time. At first I thought it was a cool old school bar that may be our new spot prior to dinner. However, that quickly changed. The staff was fine personality wise. I can't say that anyone was rude, but they were not incredibly attentive. One of my friends ordered a tap beer and when he tried it, he was let down. He thought it tasted like 3 different beers, maybe from not cleaning the tap often. He also had a small reaction to it, as the beer he specifically ordered doesn't give him a reaction, but most others do, kind of confirming the tap may not be cleaned regularly. He did let the staff know and they did take the beer off, which we thought was nice. We also ordered water and 3 cocktails. The cocktails were fine, but incredibly sugary and pretty small, almost having us questioning if there was much alcohol in it. I am not one for a strong drink, but for $15, l at least want to know I paid for a cocktail and not a soda. We never got the waters unfortunately, so I can't say much about that. They also took forever to give us the bill and take the bill to swipe our card. The atmosphere was fine. They had TV's with like 2000's mixes playing, which was fine for me. Definitely a fine bar if you want to pay a lot for a drink you aren't happy with and if you want possibly unclean tap beer. I don't plan on being back, especially with so many other bars in the area.
