Been to this bar years when I worked in the neighborhood on Madison Avenue and E 40 St.. Good bar snacks and great drinks. Bartender was very friendly and has improved since the last time I visited. Cheers !!
I had an immaculate basic BLT for lunch and a perfect side salad with it with just the right amount of dressing artfully applied.
The downside is that it's a bar and the loud rock music didn't really match either a pub vibe or mid-afternoon getting a sandwich.

Atmosphere and service were great. It was nice to have a meal after a long day of walking and shopping. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The food lacked seasoning and the meats we ordered were dry, the fries were over fried, the salad was the best part of the meal. The salad dressing was great and the salad tasted fresh and crunchy
