I love the desserts there! I got the matcha moon cake and it was amazing! However, the place was extremely loud and noisy. I wish it were a bit quieter so I would be able to sit down and enjoy my dessert. Will definitely visit again, but will only get takeouts.

We saw lots of great reviews of Multisweet from a FB group about Asian desserts. We had super high expectation and were carving desserts that are mixed with savory elements like floss, seaweed...etc.It's a tiny stand in a restaurant with limited options. We were there after having lunch and we thought it's not too late but most choices we would like to try were sold out already. We got a box of Pork Floss Sponge Cake, there were 4 small pieces for $15 and it was not worth the price in our opinions. The taste wasn't delicate and the balance of sweet & savory was off. We were so disappointed with their quality. However, we might consider to visit again to try other desserts since we bought the worse choice.

5 stars for the technique on the pastries. Nice flaky exterior, warm interior. 5 stars also for the shredded pork and egg yolk pastry. 3 stars for the taro pastry and the red bean/egg yolk pastry. I could not taste taro in one and the other was pretty bland.Note to owner: the English on the bottom of the box needs correcting. It says 'Delicious Egg Farts' on top and the slogan at the bottom makes no sense. This didn't affect my rating.

4* is because I'm a huge fan of their coconut keto jellies which melt in your mouth with a punch of coconut flavor. Everything else can be hit or miss. I found the cake in their soy milk custard cake too dry, and the earl grey pudding had great flavor although the pudding texture was a bit too solid/congealed (like a cross between pudding and jelly). I also had a mochi egg tart once that didn't leave an impression. Great creativity, I just wish it was executed more consistently.

This tiny bakery is tucked in a Thai restaurant which may be hard to find it at first. It was empty when I arrived. I quickly got one coconut milk and matcha puff to go. The coco milk has a slimy, weird texture and doesn't come with straw/spoon...the puff is okay and super small-sized. Well I'm not too impressed as I can order it at any dimsum places and bakeries in Chinatown. All the cakes in the refrigerator aren't displayed with price so I have to ask the cashier the price tags many times...Love to have various Asian dessert businesses in the neighborhood so I give 3 stars for Multisweet to improve their quality and service.

Sadly to leave this review but this place is a joke with what they offer and the price tag. A typical pandemic shark! (And I'm a d*** victim) I got two item, and paid $30, with probably $3 quality, what a joke. Taro Cake - bottom layer of sponge cake, middle layer of flavored taro paste, top layer of cream - $10.99. honestly nothing special I have nothing to say about it... Pork Song Song - comes in 4, it's really just cheao sponge cake (again) coated with Chinese Pork Floss with mayonnaise. How dare they sell this at $15.99 ??? Well I'm d*** and paid for this but ... I don't know oh well. Speechless. Go to Sweet Rehab at least you pay for tiny but crafted layered French dessert rather than this sponge cake.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Don't waste any penny here!! If there's negative star I would give it negative stars, that's literally how bad it was. I'm a huge fan of durian and salty egg yolks. So when I saw they have durian and salty egg yolk puffs I was sooo happy and excited to try them. I got one durian puff, two different egg york puffs. Started with the durian puff, I bite into it with all my excitement and Omg... it's BITTER! Wth...Anyone who has had durian before would know they should not be BITTER!! And my friend also tried a bite, then spit out right away!! And then we tried the egg York puffs, the mochi inside was hard as rock, for both of them, seriously?!!! I would say these things at this point are not only stale but so bad that totally uneatable!!! So all three pastries went directly to trash! Such a waste of money not to mention that they're not cheap!! Biggest disappointment I've ever had!!!

Multisweet expanded their service to LIC. I am so glad that they actually decided to expand a little so I dont need to travel all the way to Chinatown. Place would be hard if you were on rainy day and first time being here. Because their sign is settled in between stores.. and you really need to focus on the side which is close to the side way. Food: I have to say, I am bit disappointed. First, I think food got pricer... Make sense, considering the inflation problem but quality was not as extraordinary as I had back few years ago. In detail, I had this strawberry short bread. It is not creamy at all, very flat flavor and strawberry was not that sweet. I assume that it would not be the season to eat strawberry? but still, whats wrong with the cream, the cake layer. I am bit disappointed. service: quick and fast Overall: i expected more i guess. 3 stars

Love the packaging but the taste/flavor was alright. My favorite with the soybean flavored cake. Biggest downside is the price. Don't be fooled by the picture, boxes are way smaller in person.

I stumbled upon this spot while browsing on IG and was curious so I stopped by one day to try it out. I went to the one in Chinatown, where they are located inside a part of a Thai restaurant. I got the Durian egg tart, Soymilk Custard Cake and Taro/Ube cake. Honestly, they were ok, but the prices felt quite high for what they were. They were packaged very nicely, but aside from that, I don't know if it can justify the price of it. When I got the Durian egg tart, I was surprised it wasn't the shape of a egg tart. It was more of folded puff pastry. The filling was more firm that how I would expect egg tart filling to be. Maybe it would have been better warm, but it wasn't anything special in my opinion. The durian flavor was light. The pastry was flaky, but again, wish the custard filling was a bit more soft. As for the cakes, they were good, but they just felt too expensive for what they were. It was literally a layer of sponge cake, a layer or the paste and then cream on top. I would say that the soymilk was nice since I haven't noticed many soymilk cakes out, but the cakes felt very simple to make, so I don't really see the reason for that price tag ($10 each). I would say if you see something that you may possibly like, maybe give it a shot, but I don't think I would really repurchase anything here unless there was something new that I was curious to try. I did notice that in pics, their LIC location has more options and size options for the cakes which I would prefer so that way I can try more without getting the bigger size and risk not liking it. I think the plus side would really just be that things do taste like they are more homemade compared to commercial made products.

I was very excited to try this place and I had high hopes. I ordered the strawberry, durian, and Oreo mochi along with the coconut keto cubes. The mochi was not fresh - the texture was off, not stretchy or chewy. You can tell it was old because it was hard and rubbery. The fillings were mostly cream and didn't have too much flavor except for the Oreo. We couldn't eat much of it since the mochi was old. The coconut keto cubes were pretty tasteless. We were really craving mochi and perhaps other items are better but this experience does not make me want to take a chance especially for the price.

This new bakery is adorable! I have a hunch that the owners have a soft spot for dogs since there is a bag of doggy treats on a shelf by the cashier and their little mascot is a dog doodle. My boyfriend and I stopped in because we walked by this area before but the bakery was a new addition in a quite street. By the way, the walk from this bakery to Gantry is not too bad (~20mins) so you could potentially enjoy your desserts there if you catch it when it's not too crowded. If you don't feel like walking to the park, there's some seating indoors as well as a small, very cute outdoor patio space. By the front there is a bench as well so the bakery can seat about 7 single/couples or a handful of small groups. The prices are more than your usual Chinese bakery but they offer more unique options including chiffon cheesecake, earl grey pudding, durian mochi, and much more. My boyfriend and I got the first two in the list. The chiffon cheesecake was not as fluffy as we expected but it was still good. Imagine spongecake with a layer of light cheesecake filling. The EARL GREY PUDDING THOUGH- mad good. Probably my favorite pudding ever. I wish it came in a large tub. The pudding had the rich, aromatics of earl grey tea, slight bitterness that accompanied the sweetness of the pudding. It also had a really smooth texture almost reminiscent of egg tart filling. Definitely going to come back for the pudding.

Here is another amazing story of a self made business opening up new location during the pandemic. While Multisweet started off in a small shared space in Chinatown, Tang - this will be their first standalone location. Their specialty is homestyle Asian desserts using fresh fruits and organic, seasonal ingredients plus custom cakes and catering businesses. The pastries mainly use Asian flavors, pork floss cake, fruity mochi, and Portuguese egg tarts, or taro short cake. Sweetness is balanced and never too heavy, like most Asian desserts. This new location because there's now indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the sweets and drink to truly emcompass a delicious experience. They always come up with new seasonable flavors to stay relevant, so there will always be surprises.

I heard so many good things about this place and wanted to give a try. I ordered the soybean custard cake box. It was so small.. comes in 1.5in x4in container (see pic) and so ridiculously expensive for what it's worth ($7). It's literally just one layer of sponge cake with one layer of whipped cream topped with soy powder; usually it's multiple layers of each from my past experience of custard cake box. You can literally finish this box in 3 bites. Its prob worth $4 at most. I guess if you are desperate for something like this it be worth it but i will not return.
