Extremely un-accomodating of allergies! Refused to serve me given my seafood allergy.
Walk the extra 3 blocks and go to Bagel Pub instead of this place. I’m new to the neighborhood and have been trying to find my go to bagel spot. LOVED bagel pub but wanted to try Murray’s since it seemed like a more authentic NYC bagel shop. (Added bonus - Bagel Pub is cheaper!)
I took my bagel to go and was confused that it was ice cold when I opened it up to eat it (which is odd since i ordered it toasted) then took a bite and realized it wasn’t toasted at all.
I called the store and they told me they talked to the person who made my order and they swear it was toasted (shocker) - did not offer me a refund. Told me to “do what i need to do” so now I am. Take it from someone who’s lived in NYC for almost a decade. This bagel spot is not it.

Laid back, it's a signature Bagel joint.
Comes up in Trip advisor for NYC in most tourist suggestions

Really enjoyed the tofu eggless salad on pumpernickel! Went in the afternoon, so service was stellar as well
Still my favorite address for bagel. I recommend the everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. It goes so well with black coffee...

Always one of the best bagels in NYC. Great staff and location.
Good bagels! The service is fast, and the bagels are quite large. They also added a good amount of peanut butter!

Confused staff & not up to the mark bagel
- good sandwiches and bagels
Only problem is ordering a sandwich and asking for mayo 3 times, then getting back to work and there’s no mayo and they added cheese… strange

Worth the walk from 34th street. Brought two kiddos under ten and they loved the options of schmere’s and spreads. Will be back on our next NY trip. There’s just nothing like a NYC bagel!

Remarkably consistent disastrous service - not one employee acts like they want to be there. Decent bagel.

Everything bagel tasted stale as cardboard leftover from the Soviet era.
