Musaafer delivers an exceptional culinary journey, offering some of the finest desi cuisine my brother and I have experienced. We began with the chicken kebabs, followed by the signature butter chicken experience, paneer rizala, and garlic naan. Each dish was executed with precision and depth. The butter chicken experience is essential, rich and indulgent without being heavy. For those drawn to nuanced, unexpected flavors, the paneer rizala is a standout: the subtle infusion of rose petals lends a delicate floral note that transforms a familiar paneer preparation into something truly transportive. Every bite feels intentional, refined, and unforgettable.
Nothing special aside from the decor. Service was very lacking. Food was average at best and the inventiveness didn't add anything in terms or flavor.
Extremely low value for money, taste is similar to Walmart Mezban frozen kabobs. I expected that much, but what I didn't expect was the rude waiter who didn't want to give us any anniversary treat, so we left to go have dessert somewhere else. The only good thing was the cleaning guy who came by to wipe our table, that being the only good thing tells you all you need to know.
Awesome Waiter! Recommended and Explained everything regarding the drinks & dishes very thoroughly! Drinks & Food came to the table in a timely manner and plates were picked up also as they got empty! Ambiance was nice! Will visit again and also will check out the Bar!
The most amazing food and an environment that could have been in Delhi or Mumbai. Service equally great.
Fantastic food, drinks and service. All the dishes had great presentation and tasted amazing
All the dishes we had were just simply EXCEPTIONAL, especially the Lychee Ceviche (a must-have), Duck Kucha (sp?), Octopus, and Baingan Bharta (eggplant side dish).
Had a lovely experience at Musaafer. The service, food and ambience made it a truly special occasion. Chef Mayank and Chef Sumanth not only prepared an exceptional menu but were also very warm and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had a wonderful time at Musaafer! Great experience and delicious food! Tanmay provided us excellent service.
Amazing Ambience ! Awesome food ! Fantastic staff and amazing service. Musaafer is definitely the best Indian restaurant in NYC. I keep going back again and again with Family, friends, colleagues, etc. It is a fantastic display of the different dimensions of the Indian Heritage.

Definitely a must try for people who are looking to taste different flavors of Indian cuisine
Excellent food and a beautiful room The waiter was very nice but hard to hear Wine list was extremely expensive
The food and service here is wonderful. Borderline amazing. My only critique is the carrot halva desert, not great, better anywhere in New Delhi. Everything else delicious.
We really enjoyed the food. Some unique starters and desserts. Butter chicken was delicious. Very loud ambience but a fun restaurant.
Attempted to contact the restaurant about an unsettling food quality issue and never heard back a week later. Won't dine here again. So over spiced and rich my wife and I felt unwell after. Nice space, atmosphere and waitstaff though a little over the top. Some of the dishes show the promise of the original Michelin starred venue in Houston and cooked at a high standard. However our dish of coriander prawns was served as a mess unlike the beautiful presentation seen elsewhere and had loose, trimmed, only shrimp tails in it. Inquired with our waiter if this was part of the cooking process and didn't get an explanation other than it was ‘a mistake'. Mistakes happen in the kitchen but waste from expensive protein ending up in a fresh dish is not up to standards I expect from any restaurant especially not one with this reputation and fine dining prices. Left feeling unwell about the meal. Waitstaff are excellent people and I wish them the best.
