This kosher (ok) restaurant is one of the best diary restaurant in New York City. Service can be on the slow side so don't go when you are in a hurry but generally this is a great place to go for a leisurely meal.

It took the man 20 minutes and he could not let us know if there was a table. He sat other people and when I asked him if there was a table for 5 instead of answering me he started yelling at me because I was not waiting for him in the entrance. I asked him again if there was a table, there were many empty ones. We were not asking for free food. Only for a table and we were going to pay. There are many other kosher restaurants in NY and I do not like when people are rude to customers. I'm sure he is not the owner because he cares nothing about business. If this was just to seat us, I guess the service is terrible. I wish I could post without giving any star.

Can't even review the actual food or service because my friend and I tried organizing a dinner party, and we called emailed and even messaged the restaurant on Facebook, and no one responded (we tried over 15 times). Very strange that no one would pick up a phone during dining hours.. Horrible and we won't be going to eat there even if it's just us two. Will go somewhere that actually respects the customer and their time. 0/10 recommend even trying to go there

The service was horrendous - we never even made it there! I was trying to plan a dinner for about 12-14 people. I called on a day the restaurant was closed and got the voicemail telling me to email. I did and got a response the next day asking for my number which I immediately gave. From then on I was basically ghosted! I didn't hear from anyone so I decided to call. I got on the phone with the man who answered my email asking for a number. He said he was catching up on emails, my reservation should be approved and would call or email me within the hour to confirm Nothing. I called back. Nothing. I emailed. Nothing. I emailed and called from multiple different numbers and email addresses. Nothing. I Facebook messaged them. Nothing. I had been reaching out for a week straight to make a simple reservation and was COMPLETELY ignored. I have never in my life came across such horrendous customer service. Who would think a resteraunt would turn down such a large party willing to spend money. A restaurant with a horrible business model I guess? would not recommend wasting your time. Can't imagine what the service is there if this was my experience. Proceed with caution to this incredibly questionable establishment!
