Nadas - Rainbow Gluten Free Empanadas

Empanadas didn’t really have much flavor and dry, maybe it’s because they are gluten free? Whatever the case might be, they look good/IG worthy, but it tasted as if it was just flavored with salt and not much else. Oh, half my order was wrong also.

It was fairly easy to find, there’s no seating or parking. It’s takeout only. The guy that worked there was nice. The food was fresh yummy and you could not tell it was gluten-free. Reasonable price for the size especially for Greenwich. I would go back.

This place is a neighborhood institution! I was enjoying a delicious empanada and at the same time Manny and the team checked in on the mailwoman and made sure she was having a good day. They gave free water and chatted her up. What a gem

I went to the Wicked Gluten-Free Expo in Philly on Sept 7, 2024 with my daughter. Nadas was there, and I asked questions about their products, which they were very helpful in answering. I purchased some frozen beef and chicken ones. They told us that outside the venue, they had a pop-up where we were able to get freshly cooked ones. The pork and mango ones were to die for! Also, ate the chicken and beef. They were all so yummy! We will definitely go and get more!

Tried them at Smorgasburg and two were incredible (guava and spinach) and one was okay (pork/mango). The pork one was a bit dry and you could barely tell the mango taste.

The cutest looking empanadas coupled with amazing service. The presentation, packaging and look is all on point! Bonus points for everything being gluten free and some dairy free and vegan options as well.

For us, the taste is where things didn't hold up. The savoury ones are actually really salty and they could really benefit for some low sodium options. Even our kiddo wouldn't eat them because they were too salty for her liking and she loves her salt.

The blended juice beverages are delicious and a saving grace on a hot summer day.

We really wanted to like the empanadas and got a good sampling of the flavours given we got half a dozen

Really good! I don’t have to eat gluten free but went here twice bc my girlfriend has celiacs. Great empanadas and reheat well! Fairly priced too.

So thankful for gf places like this. Very cute little takeaway place for flavorful empanadas. They offer several different flavors. The staff was very nice too.
