All I can say is Oh. My. Lord. I wish I lived in NYC so this could be a staple. Ambiance is average, but hard to do something really special in a mall. But I appreciated the tables weren't on top of each other. It was a little hard for some of our party to find as well (signs not as visible if you are walking in from the side; we had no problem coming up from the escalator). The food though! We had the Mezza plate with hummus, and kababs (octopus, chicken, steak). First off, the mezza plate would have been enough for dinner by itself. And was sooooo good. Hummus, pickles, potato salad, pickled onions, olives, cucumbers, tahini, beets, spicy carrots, and baba ganoush. What I loved most were their pitas. Unlike most places where you get pita bread that is thin and a bit dry, their's were thick and bready. Absolutely to die for!! And all the meats were really good! Rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The servers were friendly and attentive.

OMG what a fabulous find. The food is reasonably traditional and so tasty. Wonderful experience and our best food experience in NYC - Mezze plate with hummus. Huge serving.
We came here for a late lunch, and were excited to try it because the menu looked amazing.The hostess was sitting down reading a book, and didn't greet us when we walked up the desk. She only got up and stopped reading when I looked confused and asked if we seated ourselves (?). Obviously perturbed, like we just interrupted the juiciest part of chapter 3, she said "no, she seats us." Ok, I'm already baffled. We tried the hummus, it was served with two fluffy pita breads - it was super creamy hummus, a touch spicy.We then ordered the butcher cut skewer and fries. The four pieces of meat was served on a plate surrounded by a tomato foam. The meat was not flavorful and so tough it was ridiculously hard to cut - and no steak knives were provided. We never saw our waitress again after the food was ordered. Unfortunately, overall a disappointing experience. The food was awful, and the service was bad, especially for the high price (everything is a la carte). We even overheard another patron behind us say the same thing about the food being terrible to the waitress.

The most horrible restaurant in the area. We had booked this place for a corporate lunch weeks ago. Either these guys were short-staffed OR completely inefficient. The food took a whopping 75mins to arrive. In total we spend 1hr 45mins in the restaurant and were served with the smallest portions you can imagine. Staff were super rude too and food is a joke.Please stay away from this place

We wanted to return before we even left! From start to finish, our group loved every second of our visit to Naked Tomato! A huge thanks to Will, Dov and all the staff for making us feel at home and thoroughly satisfied with everything we ate! The mezze platter is not to be missed! We thought it was great and THEN they also brought the softest, hot, delicious pitas with what looked like a tub of the smoothest hummus I have ever tasted! It was the perfect way to end our evening after seeing the lights! I am very excited to go back!
