I got the signature set, which I would recommend if it’s your first time. Everything is well prepared, yummy, and fresh. My favorite from this one is the coconut shrimp curry. I also got the brunch set and really enjoyed this one. It’s very fun with a variety of things I wouldn’t really think of or get in a hand roll place. Surprisingly, my favorite piece from the brunch set is the avocado one. The outside is very crunchy, sucha fun texture with the avocado.Very busy on the weekend. Would recommend having a reservation. If not, they could do walk ins but be prepared to sit outside/not at the counter, which is what I did. I personally would prefer to sit at the counter for the experience.

Horrible. Was excited to take my teenage daughter there. We arrived and ask for the manager to discuss my daughters severe food allergy. The manager woman, heavy-set by way of description made us feel very uncomfortable. First off she “wasn’t sure” about anything, then refused to let me see their allergen card she was holding until I insisted, saying she had to check with the chef if I could see it. Ridiculous. Is revealing your dishes allergens top secret? She didn’t understand what a shared fryer was when I inquired about the tempura being safe or not. She was passive aggressive, condescending, and very poorly trained. When she went to check on the 5th thing she wasn’t sure about, we got up and left. We went to Kazunori Original Hand Roll just down the block. Yes it’s part of a parent restaurant group, but that’s why everyone was properly trained. Manager was so sweet and lovely, answered all my questions, and a simple smiling “of course” when I asked to see their allergen card. Professionals and we had a fantastic time and meal. Skip Nami Nori if you expect even remotely quality service.

I have really loved this place in the past, but I made a reservation about a week in advance. It was very rainy and cold. They had us sit outside in a tent which was honestly terrible. The light above our head kept going out repeatedly giving it a really strong prison vibe. No music outside so the vibes were super off. They kept bumping the table to fill up water and everyone was sitting out there just confused by how low quality the dining experience was. They really should just remove 1 of the tables, get some fixtures that are high enough quality and get a speaker. Really terrible experience from a usually lovely place.

Great spot for a light and creative lunch, or dinner date. An easy to navigate menu with cheap and interesting drinks and some stand out appetizers - notably the chive dip. The interior is low key stunning and service was quick and friendly.I love hand rolls/temakis. These do get a bit further away from classic hand rolls though with fried oyster and shrimp tempura on the signature set. The basic ones they do offer felt a bit too basic. I personally prefer the ones at Domodomo. But it’s a great dining experience and would very happily come back.

We got the spicy tuna dip, the signature set, and the mochurros and everything was delicious. The atmosphere and service were great and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend getting seats at the counter top.

The fried chili peppers were mixed with a sour sauce that sank to the bottom. The last few chili peppers were particularly sour. The hand-rolled seaweed is very crispy, the rice has a low flavor, and the overall size is not big. The crispy onions on the tuna hand rolls add texture and aroma. Scallop hand rolls, the scallops are very fresh and sweet, but a bit spicy for me. Coconut shrimp doesn't go well with rice. The salmon is nothing special. Cucumber hand rolls, a bit too much cucumber, but the seasoning is actually quite good. The tempura shell was indeed thick and the shrimp was old. Tempura is really not good. The mochurros were okay, nothing special.

The first time i came here i was a vegetarian. I have been here a few times since they’ve opened and since i started eating fish again and the menu slightly changes throughout the year. The seasonal pieces are worth a try. My favorite pieces are the tuna, black sesame, and the scallop.
