Whenever I want to go to a special lunch, this restaurant comes straight to my head. splendid and diverse food and a rich menu.generous crew, and pleasant ambience. Good spot, right in the MetLife building. Pretty good pizza, good for medium to large drinks. Also like sitting on the patio on 45th during the summer

We live 4 blocks away but maybe getting old or something...always a line and freaking loud. But good pizza and a short walk home so order ahead, grab the dog and pick it up...hey 1000 review congrats little star

Definitely recommend this spot. Or waitress Christine was the best. Amazing attitude service, great smile, food was great. I do have to recommend the tiramisu.. by far the best I ever had!!!The service is great!

Amazing food but hella expensive for pizza. I get the feeling this is for midtown business executives with generous expense accounts. The inside is very nice and spacious. But like, I can fly to Naples and get the same pizza for 2 euro on the street.

Four of us met up for a late lunch. No problem with finding a comfortable table. There was something on the menu for everyone. The toasted brussel sprouts were a hit, as was the dish featuring fresh mozzarella. The four-cheese individual pizza was good size and excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. I asked the others if they wanted quick and inexpensive or nice. We picked nice and were not disappointed.

Great deep dish pizza. Hard to find good pizza in California but this place is awesome. The homemade sauce is excellent. One slice and I was full. They won't seat you until your entire party arrives though which is a bummer.

I ordered artichoke-dried-tomato-spinach pizza. It was the best tastiest pizza I have had since I came to SF 2 years ago. A wide choice, most options are vegetarian!
Great pizza! Definitely get the square one to share since they can do half pies. The meatballs are also very good, along with the calamari (so crispy)!!

Scialatielli, I tried this southern style pasta in Capri and naples many years ago Italy. I am surprise to find this in New York and they made it so nice. Pasta at right hardness and it was cooked and baked well infusing all the sauce and spices. I asked for more chilli flakes and garlic minced to be added. And I nvr regretted it. Great surprise found in my recent trip. Will return for sure.

I've been eating at Naples45 for a decade, and it has very good pizza and good appetizers. But I was recently there with business colleagues and had their penne dish with a light marinara sauce and small chunks of mozzarella. It was not even as fair as you'd get in a typical diner, let alone an expensive restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The pasta was almost certainly pre-cooked, which in the year 2020 is a cardinal sin - and there's no excuse for that, whatsoever. I do a lot of cooking, and definitely know the difference. If I ever do return, I'll stick with the pizza.
