Dietary restrictions: I am celiac and was excited because I though this was a Gluten free pizza place. It is not. It is a small pizza joint that also has a gluten free option. I got a supreme pizza and it tasted good. The crust is extra thin, as is the New York style. The crust wherever there isn’t cheese has the crunch of a cracker.Not the worst gluten free pizza I’ve had but also not the best.

We ordered based on how this spot is advertised on Google “Royal Napoli Gluten Free Pizza & Pasta”We placed orders in DoorDash that were tagged under entirely gluten free sections on their menu.We received two pizza very clearly made with regular, gluten dough.Made a call to ask because the crust did not appear to be gluten free. Bubbles in the crust, texture and feel.They said they made regular pizzas for us because they did not get a request for gluten free.Unsavory tone.Mis guided advertising could lead to someone having a very serious life treating reaction.

After driving to and from Albany, yes upstate, I was on the verge of exhaustion. I needed food. I was in the mood for pizza and the closest place from my location was "Royal Napoli Pizza." I mean in Manhattan, there's probably restaurants in any direction you walk, but this was the location I found first. Walking to it, I noticed it was in need of some care. It was a bit run down on the outside, and no better on the inside. It was small with only one table for seating. However, good food makes up for ambience, so I headed straight for the counter. The gentleman who was serving was nice. They had a small selection to choose from. Before I ordered I had to ask; "do you take Apple Pay?" Saying yes was music to my ears. He grabbed my slices and put them into the oven. After a brief moment, he handed me my slices. I sat down and started eating. The pizza was okay. It was better than the worst I've experienced, but didn't move the needle in terms of standing out. I did like it though. It was nice, the put all the condiments on the table. A sprinkle of parmesan and pepper helped. I would go back. But, if someone asked me where to great a good slice, this recommendation would not make my top ten.

This review is for Royal Napoli Pizza 2 on 9th in Hells Kitchen. This is one of those little hole in the wall places that actually has some of the Best pizza slices in all of Hell's Kitchen. Thin crust with a little crunch to it without a burn spot in sight, sauce cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness and less oregano taste and the cheese is perfect. Great pizza in a sea of pizza joints.

Amazing! The crust was perfect, no flop. The service was quick and the staff was extremely friendly. We also had two buffalo chicken slices which were the perfect amount of spicy. Highly recommend! Mishu was welcoming and helpful.
