We went here for afternoon tea after spending a rainy NY Saturday at The Met. It was a relief to sit down and have something to eat after battling the hordes of people who were crowding out every square inch of the Met Museum all day.
The wait staff were friendly and helpful and our order of tea and cake came out quickly. The diner was packed and it was a little uncomfortable sitting in a tightly packed space with so many people dripping wet from the rain....

We went here for breakfast before going to the Metropolitan Museum. We were greeted by the hostess, who was very nice, and sat outside. We had wanted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and experience the morning activities going around. After we sat we were promptly served water by the server who also asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for a couple of cappuccino. Shortly after the waiter came to take our order. I do take issue with how they try to rip people off. It happens too often. For example, there's an order of fries for $11 or a $5 side with a sandwich. They will try to charge the $11. They'll argue that you didn't specify and they just assumed that a single person wanted the...
