The menu is full of bold flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Some options, like the Tom Yum rice, pack quite a spicy kick—perfect for anyone who loves heat! I’d recommend letting them know your spice preference so they can tailor it to your taste. The octopus and drunken noodles were flavorful and satisfying, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the cooking.
Dessert was a standout—the pistachio cheesecake was absolutely divine, creamy and perfectly balanced.
The Thai ice tea is the biggest stand out because of the jelly—whoa, they even had lactaid milk and almond!

Blending flavors from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and delivering a bold and innovative dining experience. The space leans minimalist yet sophisticated, with a well-curated full bar.
On the food side, Nemesis offers creative reinterpretations of Southeast Asian classics. The Fried Oysters, Thai-style Beef Tongue, and Grilled Iberico Pork Jowl were all outstanding! The Roasted Bone Marrow with Baguettes was flavorful but leaned a bit too rich.
Drinks are another highlight here, with beautifully crafted cocktails like the Freshman Fizz, Sky High, and Starry Night Sour — all highly recommended. Their cocktail menu is thoughtfully designed, with illustrations of each drink alongside details on potency, sweetness, and sourness, making it approachable even for guests less familiar with cocktails.
Overall, Nemesis is perfect for small gatherings or share-style dining. The menu feels a bit like a Southeast Asian twist on tapas, with many small plates and shareable dishes, making it equally great for planned nights out or casual walk-ins.

Was overall an interesting experience, especially given how much I appreciate fusion cuisine. I really enjoyed the creativity behind the Malaysian and Thai flavors interplay. The dessert selection was quite disappointing unfortunately just down the block. Gramercy Tavern was able to scratch the itch. A decent first date spot. The bronze was supposed to be one of the most well reviewed fish and while it was quite palatable, I have definitely had better within a 10 block radius.

Kinda average especially considering the price. Competition for Thai food in NYC is fierce and Nemesis falls short.
Grilled Pork Jowl - quite a small portion. Well marinated and flavorful but severely lacking the char of a grill.
Chili Crab Lumpia - pretty solidly stuffed with crab. Cant complain.
Crab Fried Rice - solid fried rice. Good texture. Plenty of crab. Balanced.
Char Kway Teow - completely void of color and caramelization, overloaded with large cuts of undercooked vegetables
Mushroom Pad Cha - Insane that this dish is 26. A measly portion of stir fried mushrooms. Clearly cooked at too low temp for too long as all the mushroom pieces were shrunk to tiny bits. No ‘cha’ in the pad cha… or sizzle when the ingredients hit the wok.
Ube flan - it’s fine. But expected way more elements and finesse for a $16 dessert.
Pandan pudding - better than the flan

I came across the receipt by accident today and found that they actually charged me a 20% large party fee. The guest count on the receipt shows five people, but there were only two of us. I have no idea why.

Okay so here’s my honest review.
Service was great, so is the atmosphere. But the food was not great, it was mid at best.
Drinks: I had Thai iced tea- very good 10/10
Apps: fruit salad and bone marrow- fruit salad was weird 5/10. It had a bitter sweet sauce with a bunch of peanuts. They put strawberries, pineapple, and apple slices all together and that was it. It wasn’t much of anything. Bone marrow- ehhhh I’ve had better. It was just balsamic sauce with marrow and some slices of bread, 5/10. Both apps were nowhere near “Thai” cuisine.
Mains: pa kra pow: 4/10- not spiced, just salty and dry. They didn’t even ask what spice level I wanted. It was very mild. Nowhere close to the Thai version. Another main I had was green beans and minced pork- 4/10: I mean the taste profile is exactly the same as Pa kra pow, just changed up the ingredients. When I asked for tom yum soup, they said they were out.
Dessert: skipped.
Overall, mid. Food was wayyy overpriced too. NYC has so much more to offer. It is okay to skip this place and save your money.

A happening upscale thai offering innovative takes on traditi9nal dishes. Portions are a bit small and price high as expected. Good service and decor.

the service was amazing (gave us free appetizer dish!) and atmosphere was nice and calming, although there some entrees that tasted more like asian mix (like chinese) than Thai, but there were still good Thai flavors in like the chicken wings and the beef slices appetizer
