DB Moderne serves top notch food in a lovely bistro setting. We were 9 people and everyone at the table loved their dishes. Ive been several times and it is consistently delicious. Highly recommend.
We were eager to try Daniel Boulud's modern French bistro--given his reputation. And it was a perfect location for a pre-theater meal, especially during restaurant week. Granted, that's not always representative of what a restaurant has to offer, but still, we were disappointing by our meals. The appetizers (we all got the apple and blue cheese salad) were adequate as were two of the main courses: one steak & Frites, one coq au vin. The star was, by far, the duck breast. Thank you Daniel Boulud! Nice discreet dining experience in Mid-town. I had the Original DB Burger with foie gras. It is still amazing. A bottle of Bordeaux with the meal and pleasant company. Fantastic.
