CASH ONLY. A quaint spot on the corner, that is very fast and had seating on a Saturday. There's a lunch special til 5p which is generous. We enjoyed the ox tail soup hand pulled noodles, which were good, (we added chili oil) the texture of the hand pulled noodles were excellent, not too thick. The steamed pork dumplings were also great, esp with the house sauce. This isn't the original spicy village, so don't get it mixed up. Enjoy!
I had boiled dumplings and the beef brisket hui mei here, primarily because it was still open closer to 10 p.m. on a weeknight. Both items were fine, but a little light on flavor. The person working was perfectly nice and easy to order from. The blue-green fluorescent lights are unappetizing.
There's nothing wrong with this place, but it doesn't have much appeal with so much tasty competition in the immediate vicinity.

Went there last weekend because you couldn't get near the original. Spicy chicken platter was perfectly spicy, be sure to get the extra noodles. Also had soup dumplings and pork and veg dumplings which were vey good. Prompt efficient service.
