The teas are so refreshing and fruity. Josie was so pleasant, she customized our drink order and even gave us a free piece of fluffy cake to try. It was delicious! Teas are delicious. My friend loved hers especially. Definitely worth stepping in on a hot day. We love it and will definitely be going back.

With two bakeries sitting side by side, it's not easy to stand out, but Daronghua manages to do just that by staying true to its roots.
This spot leans heavily into classic Chinese flavors such as taro, durian, mango, red bean, and more, offering a delicious variety of cakes and traditional desserts that prioritize comforting, nostalgic taste over flashy presentation. The Taro Tiramisu and Durian Tiramisu are particularly interesting fusion-style takes on classic bakery items.
The cakes have a homemade feel in the best way, with a more traditional appearance than those at the neighboring bakery and an unmistakably Asian-style texture and flavor.
They also serve a variety of steamed bao, traditional buns, and a nice selection of classic Asian drinks made on the spot. It is clearly not your average hip bubble tea shop.
This is not a sleek or modern dessert spot, and it does not need to be. The charm lies in its tradition, offering comforting, well-executed flavors that capture the authentic Chinese bakery vibe.
