If I ever open a restaurant in nyc, I will try to poach Vanessa and James. These are all-star players. I've been to Nice Matin many times for lunch and dinner. The food has always been good. The service also has been good, except for the last two times I was there for lunch. Several of the servers need further training in customer service, e.g., asking if everything is okay, refilling water glasses, not disappearing for extended periods, etc. I will be back, but it's now not my go to place.

Fabulous, plentiful food with excellent service. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling like the staff is in a hurry to get rid of you. Top-notch, French food and lovely atmosphere. Outdoor seating as well. So good!

I came here for my bday celebration with some friends. The overall consensus The food was great, had the salmon and the food was spectacular. Service was timely, and we were seated quite promptly as well. Would definitely come back here!
I have really enjoyed this restaurant for years but this time, our omelettes and eggs were overcooked and underseasoned. Not good. Service was great - I did not have time /patience to send back the eggs. The noise level was too much. It was Saturday brunch - a busy time and I like a feeling of energy but we really couldn't hear each other. I think they need to address that issue. This may have been an off day for the kitchen. I will try again

Although we were late for our reservation (show at the Beacon ran long) they had no issue seating us. Service was stellar from the moment we walked into the door. Bread was hot and fresh, Tuna Tartare was impeccable. Mocktails were delicious (cucumber cooler was so refreshing). Steak Frites was so well cooked, fries perfectly fried and the bernaise sauce was well made. Mussels were amazing, so fresh, so delicately balanced as was the accompanying broth. Crème Brûlée was *chef's kiss*—perfect. Enrique was excellent. Will absolutely be back.

This is a “go to” neighborhood restaurant. The menu is nicely varied though portions arent very large. My partner and I often share an entree, but here the entrees are small. The food is good and nicely prepared. We will continue to go to Nice Matin!

Nice welcome to our lunch at Nice Matin. Food great ... satisfying crepes with eggplant and goat cheese with berries and cream for dessert were spot on for a hot day. Iced tea is always really good here. The only problem? Our waiter. Person was attentive in taking our order. However, afterwards, he simply vanished and had NO interest at all in following up with any further needs. Had to flag down more helpful waiters to order a second iced tea and dessert. At the end of our meal, the original waiter re-emerged to breeze by and plonk down the check. Wonderful. More frequent visits and some smiles would have gone a long way to improve our overall experience.
