The $30 Restaurant Week menu was well worth every penny. However, the $18:glass of Cote de Rhone was comparatively jarring; albeit delicious with the meal

This was a last minute booking before a concert and I should have known better when every 15 min block was available. The service was sad but gets a pass due to the older, well intentioned gentleman. Everything from the depressing dated and shabby atmosphere to the poorly made cocktail, the TINIEST oysters I've ever seen in my life, and finally - the seriously undercooked pork chop which thankfully the manager immediately took away and had re-fired, describes our experience. I honestly can say the bread and salted butter were the highlight of our overpriced experience. Steer Clear!!!

I went here with a friend during restaurant week. For appetizer I got the fried green tomatoes with feta cheese. It was good but not fabulous. For the main I got the flat iron steak which was very good and prepared just as I asked that is, rare. It came with fries. I had asked the waiter if I could substitute a salad or vegetable for the fries and he said no not during restaurant week. I just don't happen to care for fries very much. I love this restaurant and always come with one of my friends during restaurant week. Oh by the way I got an absolute bloody Mary which was perfectly prepared. And their Artisanal bread is worth every bit of the nine dollars that they charge. They serve it hot and the bread really is spectacular. My only slight criticism is that it is served with salted butter. I like sweet butter. You can always add salt to the butter but you can't take it away.

We visited 23 years ago and this was the place my husband proposed to me. We took a family holiday to New York to recreate memories and booked this restaurant as an anniversary. We were the only ones in the restaurant which instantly made it uncomfortable, the starters came out quickly but while we were still eating, the mains were bought out and my husbands starter was removed before he had even finished. My husbands steak was amazing but my Salmon was very overcooked and chewy so I returned it. They did me another one but this came out totally raw. I told them not to worry as was no longer hungry. We felt rushed and didn't enjoy it. Although the manager on duty was extremely apologetic and helpful so can't fault him. They took the food off the bill but unfortunately we won't ever go back now :( and wasn't the memory we wanted for our anniversary.

The food was amazing. I got a nice Ribeye, and it was perfect.. The only complaint was that the "Wedge Salad" was not great. Sadly, the one at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood in AC was way better. Other than that. This place was still 10/10.

Nick & Stef's is the perfect spot for a pre-show dinner at Madison Square Garden. The salad was one of the best I've had anywhere—fresh, crisp, and delicious. The potato wedge fries were outstanding, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. My wife ordered the filet, which was tender and cooked to perfection, while I went with the flank/skirt steak, which was flavorful and satisfying. Our waiter, Steve, was professional, attentive, and truly made the evening special with his excellent service. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which made for an enjoyable dining experience before heading into the excitement of the Garden. While I know the restaurant can get lively on some nights, this evening it felt like we had the place to ourselves—a rare treat in NYC. Highly recommend Nick & Stef's for anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and a convenient, classy spot right by Madison Square Garden.

The service was excellent. Want to thank Georgia for the excellent service. The door was absolutely delicious. I wanted to thank the staff for allowing me to take my table an hour before my seating time in order to comfortably get out of the heat. Will definitely return!!

Pedimos una carne que llegó reseca y recocida, las ensalada y las entradas no eran nada del otro mundo y mucho menos por lo que pagamos, el ambiente lúgubre, solo habíamos 3 meses no había luces ni música ambiental

Although I received a call 45 min before our scheduled reservation to advise the kitchen would be closing at our reservation time, when we arrived we didn't feel rushed. Our server Jerry was attentive and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend.

What a gem. We booked a table due to the proximity to MSG where we were attending an event. Little did we know how remarkable this restaurant was! The oysters were fabulous! The steak was cooked perfectly and delicious ! Espresso martinis topped off with dessert was amazing. Staff was friendly and attentive. The manager checked on us 3 times. We will be back !

Very good food and service but if you're a party of 2 you are seated at small tables grouped right next to one another, inches separating you. We had to have our seat changed to one against the wall. I observed some couples asking for a different table and other uncomfortable at the closeness of the tables, some were together and the customers moved them apart themselves.

Overall it was ok but considering there are so many steakhouses to choose from in NYC we won't be running back to this one. We had some misses on our meal - forgot the wedge salad, forgot the garlic in the garlic mashed, and were excited for creme brûlée but didn't have it on today's menu and seems to now be removed from the website. The manager was attentive and apologetic our waitress didn't seem enthusiastic and probably assumed we were just another out of town tourist stopping in before a show. Please note it is super convenient if attending a show at MSG or need to be close to Penn station.

staff really accommodating and food excellent -with big group around a round table a little hard to hear but everyone enjoyed the drinks and food along with the friendly staff.

The ambience of the location was nice being that it’s located in midtown manhattan, and basically apart of MSG/PENN PLAZA…

Our server Stephen D was vey attentive and pleasant… The steak was good even well done I was able to slice through it easily… The Mac and Cheese could’ve been better though the alcoholic beverages were fine… I recommend a visit for a nice quick bite to eat to catch up with family or friends….
