Cappuccino was terrible: boiling hot and with a very thick layer of froth that resembled soap - definitively not at the level of specialty coffee shops. Iād not recommend this place if youāre looking for good coffee

Very disappointing experience. I recently just moved to the area and this was the first coffee shop i visited. I got double charged for a mistake on their end. 60+ dollars on just drinks. No apology or nothing. The cashier was very rude and had tone saying, āyoure not the only one.ā He said to come back in 2 days. The drinks were awful and we kindly asked if it could please be remade. one was a pumpkin spice latte that was extremely syrupy, grainy, and bitter concentrate. An older woman working said āits not our fault if you dont like the drinkā even though it was extremely un-consumable!!!!! i feel it couldve been a nice courtesy if they couldve just remade it or added milk since i was inconvenienced 60 dollars on drinks which is absurd!!! We talked to every employee with respect and dignity, didnt receive it back. I came back 2 days later and still no sign of receiving the money. The same cashier said ādid i say come back in 2 days? I said come back in 3.ā I said the dates i was here, and he was trying to convince me i didnt come on that day even though it says it on the receipt. Again, no apology, no respect in how i was spoken to. I was told to come back but that was just another inconvenience anyways because the establishment itself did not return the money. Never come here!!!!! Horrible service!!!!!

If you want to enjoy coffee or drinks near Columbia University, I recommend this place. The staff are friendly, and the drinks taste great. One small downside is that thereās only one power outlet in the corner, so itās a bit inconvenient to charge a laptopā¦^^

The coffee was awful. The pastries look promising but stopped by here for a quick cup of coffee. The double latte was expensive and flavorless. I knew I was in for a bad time when the cup I got was scalding hot. Perhaps their other items shine more, but that was one of the worst lattes I've had.

Needed to spend an hour working and the Nutella Beignet and Cortado (single) hit the spot perfectly. Staff was great and the place feels fresh and bright. Not loud, which helps when one wants to concentrate a bit.
I was given another cannele and it tasted even more dry and rubbery, and when I complained again, the staff laughed and told his manager that I was comparing it to a google photo. Manager raised his voice and rudely offered a beignet, without offering any apology.
Poor service, rude staff, no apology and very bad pastry. Would not come here again.

I love this cafe! I've been coming here since it opened and can say with confidence that not only are their cappuccinos, croissants, and raspberry beignets consistently tasty, but the baristas who work here are really kind. They remember my order and always brighten my day. Also, the prices are reasonable (improved further by their rewards program) and I've never had a problem finding somewhere to sit, unlike other lovely cafes in the area. I recommend Niko!!

Bought a cannelƩ bordeaux from the cafe and it was rubbery and tasteless. Politely asked the staff if it was meant to taste like this but I was told that was how it was, despite my multiple attempts to tell them it did not taste anything similar to what I had before while showing them a google photo of it.
