The most AMAZING food! Every bite was like a song on my pallet. The ambiance is so relaxing and beautiful. The staff is super attentive and kind. I can't recommend this place enough!

This Good Friday dinner at Nino's was a last supper. After over 35 years, the location will be changing, from the long known East 73rd Street and First Avenue to 52nd Street. Like a Pied Piper of traditional and tasty Italian cuisine, my wife and I will be following and look forward to one of many meals after Nino's June 2024 opening. Wonderful menu choices (Nino's homemade meatballs,--a must), excellent service and generous drink pours make the trip worth it.

I haven't been to this restaurant in years. It's very charming and lovely inside. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the portion sizes. I had the linguine with clam sauce and there was barely any pasta. Even my husband asked if there was pasta underneath the clams. But there was a good amount of clams, which was nice. My husband had the salmon which was good. I know we had ordered the calamari as an appetizer, which was a small portion as well. We ended the evening with cannolis, which were excellent, but unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back. I'm trying to upload pictures, but it won't let me.

Caesar salad and burrata app delicious-burrata portion a bit small though. We all enjoyed the chicken parm and the chicken scarp. Tartufo yummy. The piano player was lovely and perfect background music. We were a party of 5. Loved Nino walking around and personal touch throughout evening. What a gentleman.

Food is consistently excellent. It is never over crowded, so you can hear yourselves speak. Friday nights you have the extra treat of Lou at the piano playing and singing beautifully! Nino is always there to welcome you and is a true gentleman.

Went for dinner this evening. Started with a wonderful Cesar salad that is prepared tableside. The veal chop special was one of the most tender and tasty chops I have ever eaten. The host was most cordial and service was very professional

We had a 2:00 pm reservation on Labor Day and after waiting 10 minutes to be seated., we waited another 15 minutes before a waitress came over. Still waited for water, with bad fish smell and knew we better quit while we were ahead and left. Terrible experience and would never go back!!!

Came here for Restaurant week lunch time and overall went ok. Initially the server did not give us the Restaurant week menu that they had online so we were just going to order from their regular menu and then a few minutes he comes back and says "my boss is feeling generous today so here's the Restaurant week menu". However he gave us the dinner menu which was $45 per person as opposed to $30 per person for lunch. It was essentially the same exact menu. I didn't mind the higher price but would just be nice to stick to what they advertise online. It's misleading for the customers.

The place was nice, quiet, good music. It was a Thursday lunch time so not a lot of people were there. It was a hot sunny day in NYC and they had the AC off when we came in. Another group of people came in and they turned the AC on for 10mins and then turned it back off. I get that there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at that time but it was extremely suffocating in there and our party of 3 were all sweating.

The food was great! Our party ordered appetizers, entree and dessert. For appetizer we got imported buffalo mozzarella and tuna tartare which were both really fresh and yummy. We also got the marinated seafood salad which we thought was a little bland in flavor. For entree our favorite was the braised lamb shank-- the service was big and the meat itself was so tender, it fell right off the bone. Our other entrees were parmasan crusted chicken and grilled salmon which were both pretty tasty but nothing special. For dessert we got tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The food was definitely satisfactory but not something I would go back for. I didn't think anything was exceptional.

All I can say is WOW… Came here for the first time for restaurant week, as we were going to order off of the prefix menu we heard the specials and read over the entire menu we decided we couldn’t shortchange ourselves of the full experience. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was like a little piece of heaven. Nino himself was amazing, from complimentary service to cooking table side desserts.. the man can do it all. I would definitely recommend coming here !!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nino's. We had the seafood salad (this is the only thing I was not impressed much with, little plant for my taste) and meatballs (absolutely wonderful) for appetizers. Branzino and pasta with shrimp for entrees, and both were very tasty. And tiramisu and chocolate mouse cake for dessert. The service was superb. As soon as we entered we were greeted and offered a choice of seats and from that point we got very attentive service. We loved the place and hope to return.
