The Vegan Shawarma here is amazing and huge! This is a cool, relaxed spot in a busy area of New York. We sat overlooking the pavement, and people watched as we ate. Highly recommended and would love to go back.
A mixed bag from Nish Nush takeout! The chili falafel burger was a highlight - flavorful and delicious. However, the cauliflower side was overfried, and the baklava dessert was overpoweringly sweet. Maybe stick to the burgers and falafel-centric dishes here? Still worth a try, but be mindful of the sides and sweets. 3/5 stars
I rate harsh so believe me when I say this falafel sandwich is 5 stars, nothing less. For about 11 dollars, you get an extremely filling, extremely flavorful sandwich. I got the spicy chilly falafel and the spice level was perfect. It won’t leave your stomach upset after you eat it and the flavor was unlike any falafel I’ve ever had.
Honestly will be hard pressed to find a better falafel place than Nish Nush. I will definitely make this a regular spot.
