Nisi’s updated menu is wonderful. I love everything I’ve tried so far and look forward to returning to try more! Highly recommend. And if you get a chance to speak with Joy, she is a delight.

The food here exists in a different category entirely. All other employees are excellent as well. They balance upscale appearance, modern trends and delicious food. The meals here satisfy completely. From ambiance to food, everything worked.

Over, over, over priced for a dump of an diner. Horrible atmosphere, terrible service, disgusting food and priced like a luxury Manhattan eatery. Do not go or you will hate yourself

Something for EVERYONE. A mix of the old diner classics that the locals will enjoy, plus the new bistro additions that I LOVE. New items include: Shepards pie (it was amazing), chicken Kabob (also so so good). Highly recommend. Owner Joy is a Joy!

I’m a local and a foodie. Please give this place a try. It’s a little gem.

Very cheap and the food was great. That's the typical American dinner.
The waitress was so kind.

New menu with delicious food, friendly service, and great prices in a cosy beautiful atmosphere!
Their pancakes are the best me and my family have ever tried!
From comfort bites like burgers to seafood like fresh oysters or tuna carpaccio, as well as the tastiest vegetarian and vegan vegetable tarts I have ever had, Nisi has something for everyone. Kid-friendly, cozy atmosphere, and live music on summer Saturdays make it our favorite spot year-round.

Disgusting service, no ambiance, and no choice for vegetarians. The place was empty and the menu was limited. Because of this they seem to jack up the prices. I will never go back and will post a sign in my building to avoid this highly expensive place for a plate of french fries!

The food was delicious and the drinks were too! Servers were very attentive and kind. I recommend the mussels and one of the original cocktails.

A small note during the waiting time for the food, which felt a little long, but: the meals was excellent, great prepared and tasted very good. The portions were rich, but not oversized. The service was very friendly and courteous.

I had a wonderful experience at Nisi Bistro thanks to Abdullah. When I ordered the duck, I was initially told it was unavailable, but Abdullah went above and beyond to make sure I could still enjoy it. His attentiveness and effort truly made the evening special. Great service like his is rare, and it definitely elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend asking for him when you visit!

Absolutely awful decision to change the brunch menu. Was a good brunch spot on Roosevelt Island now it's a tourist trap. Used to come here every weekend, now half the menu items changed and the prices are a racket for what is ultimately basic brunch food.

Wouldn't be surprised if they shut down by next spring -- no way this place will get customers once the tourists leave for the fall.
