We arrived early for our reservation and were seated right away. We were very rushed and hadn't looked at drink menu and dinner menu. Waiter was told 3 times stop rushing us. When appetizers came after a few minutes started cleaning table. Still eating. Very annoying. After dinner he gave us cordials on the house. I was just annoyed with the rushed service. Food was good. Small amounts though
This bustling restaurant presents good food and unforgiving service. It suits the theatre-going crowd by moving quickly through your order. It's a good idea to go prepared with at least an outline of what you want. All the appetizers (burratta, artichokes and polenta) were solid and sharable. We enjoyed pasta, veal and calamari puttanesca for our mains. Prices were fair. I will keep Nocello on our list for future visits.
Pre-theater meal. Arrived 1:45 before showtime. Let the waiters know ... never got my food before we had to leave for the show. Unfortunate because the food we DID get was delicious. Probably won't return.
