Open table took our reservation for a very important family dinner and when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed and has been closed for over a year. Our whole evening was ruined and it was to celebrate a very special occasion. How does open Table not know when a restaurant has closed and we were able to make reservations?! Very disappointed to say the least and not sure Open Table is the way to go

Came for dinner on a Saturday night. Vibe was nice. The staff seemed a bit unorganized or maybe some were new. We shared a bottle of an Italian cava, which was crisp and refreshing. We shared the goat cheese and arugula flatbread, grilled halloumi, and vegetarian couscous. Everything was tasty! The halloumi serving size was pretty small, only three pieces but we loved trying it wrapped in grape leaves. The flatbread was standard, not a lot of cheese but the crust was chewy and perfect! Couscous was straightforward, definitely recommend pouring all of the broth on top, it needs the moisture and flavor. Overall, the meal was delicious and felt light but filling. The live jazz on Saturday was a very nice add!

A great vibe and friendly service. The food was delicious and enjoyable to eat. A nice reminder of what Morocco is like.

Came here for the first time with family and friends. This place was nice. The ambiance, the friendly staff, tasty drinks and a entertaining atmosphere. Would definitely come again?

Sinking ship. I booked a res to surprise my wife for our 21st wedding anniversary based upon two things: the live flamenco performance scheduled for 7:30, and the North African menu coupled with the Italian menu from one of the owner's recent holdings. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty save for the owner who was gallantly sitting on the patio, and two other tables in the main dining room. There was only one staff member there who was the “maitre d' everything”. Immediately sensed that either I was in the wrong place, or there wasn't a flamenco show. No one checked our reservation which showed that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, which was never acknowledged, and that we were there for the show. The gentleman had no idea what we were talking about. He said he would ask the owner. I showed him the website and the calendar of events. The owner never came over, and I was not going to make a spectacle on this particular evening with my bride. Soon thereafter another staff member entered the dining room, a very sweet Moroccan woman who was very engaging with us. I ordered three beers from their menu, a Casa from Morocco, Mahou from Spain, an Allagash from Maine, they did not have any of them. It was then that I knew that we were on a sinking ship and the staff and us were going to be first to drown as the owner never left his seat on the patio. The food, despite my above misgivings above, was actually fantastic. We grazed through their haloumi wrapped in grape leaves, wild mushrooms, merguez/black olives flatbread before moving on to vegetable cous cous and lamb tagine. All were extraordinary. We capped the dinner with authentic mint tea and baklava with pistachio. More thought should be given to plate presentation- the tagine did not come with its' cover which is the hallmark of the dish! There were several covers behind the bar as decoration. Only one more table came in before we left at 10pm. This place should be packed.

The drinks at Nomad were really god. Got the sangria pitchers on happy hour and they were great on a summer evening. The happy hour food options though were very hit or miss. And it seems to be understaffed as there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant. I'd come again but only for drinks honestly

If you like truffle sauce...or the smell of truffle oil. The biscuits were ok. The cranberry juice was carbonated, no thanks. We asked for no truffle sauce on the filet, it came with it anyway. I left with an upset stomach and an empty wallet. Worst restaurant experience food wise in our lives. Couldnt pay us to go back.

Loved loved this place. Make sure you get the Moroccan tea as well. We got the chicken tanjine (pictured) and lamb tanjine. It was a hole in the wall type, but boy that food was delish!

We met freinds who came from abroad in Manhattan. We decided to try Nomad as we missed some familiar food. We made a reservation online and arrived. The schedule and times online did not match the ones on the door and the restaurant was not prepared when we showed. However, once we set down (party of seven) the experience changed and we met wonderful employees who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. I gave it four stars due to the cost that was a bit high in comparison to similar restaurants. However it was worth the quality. I recommend visiting this place and enjoy the quality of the food.

I have one question only, what part of the lamb was served to me last night, lamb shank or lamb leg? From your response I can tell you are a troubled person, I ve attached the picture so you know you didn't serve me lamb shank, I know you were busy , but instead you could have just said you ran out, you know we came at 7:15 and the food was served at 8:35 and the other dish was raw, try to have manners and decency which i can tell you don't have. This is how the couscous plate was when we left, good luck fellow

Very friendly and accommodating staff, did a birthday dinner here with 16 people and the staff had left the whole back room open to our group. The service was rather slow (it took about 2-3 hours total for our drinks, food dessert) but we were a good group and were enjoying. Unfortunately the food was challenging to eat as the pita, flatbread, and sandwich breads were all very over done and tough to chew on. The trio appetizer was nice, I would not recommend the Bourek or flatbreads. Beautiful interior decor and gr at music for the ambience

Came here for dinner and it was not too packed- got there during happy hour and our water was super nice!! She helped us pick our meal and the atmosphere was genuinely super nice. However, I may have picked a bad dish. I got the falafel burger, it was not good. It was bland and flavorless, the halloumi appetizer was delicious but my burger not so much. Not sure I'd go back and get the falafel burger, but something else maybe
