The Pho Dac Biet was really good. The Pho broth has an amazing flavor. The bowl was packed of noodles and meat which taste really delicious. Lots of fresh veggies and tender meat. So many excellent options and everything was so fantastic. The portion size were good and makes me so full. The place was casually good and welcoming.

I'm visiting in New York and came here with my daughter and granddaughter for an early dinner. The inside of the restaurant is small with only five seats, but there is also a separate space outside where you can eat too. Quick service.I ordered Pho Dac Biet $18.00(House combination pho with eye round, brisket, tendon, & tripe.)My daughter ordered Goi Cuon Shrimp$8.00 (Shrimp fresh summer rolls), Com Tom Ram $17.00 (Shrimp stir fried in a lemongrass sauce) and Vietnamese iced coffee $6.Granddaughter ordered Mi Xao Dzon Ga$20.00 (Stir fried chicken and veggies atop a bed of crispy egg noodles.)My pho seemed a little on the thin side in terms of soup flavor but many meat inside the soup. Stir fried noodles w chicken had a lot of vegetables and garlicky taste. Shrimp Lemongrass was okay.I think I'll try something else next time!Vegetarian options: Easy to find the vegetarian food here.

Some of the best Vietnamese food I've had in NYC so far! I loved the spring rolls and the pho was definitely better than lots of other places I've tried. It was savory and had lots of noodles and meat. I just wish the pho came with raw meat so it could have cooked in the broth. The restaurant is quite small. But the service is very quick and the food is reasonably priced.

The place is very small but overall cute atmosphere. Staff and service was good. Got the summer rolls and pork bun. Would skip summer rolls but the bun was pretty good!

Small spot with limited seating (best to go in groups of 2 or 4). Friendly, attentive staff who tend to customers quickly. The food was quick to serve and flavorful. It's a no-frills viet spot in the neighborhood

Walked into Non La on a chilly Saturday evening and got a warm bowl of beef ball pho soup! It's a cozy but tight spot inside with not a lot of seating, so a reservation might be advisable. Good ambience otherwise. The pho meatball was $15, which is a pretty decent price for pho in new york and was very filling. The broth was pretty good, though maybe a bit too salty. I did really enjoy the amount of herbs (cilantro, green onion, thai basil, and one green leafy vegetable that I didn't recognize). The service was efficient and fast.

Solid bowl of Bun Bo Hue and delicious Vietnamese iced coffee! Perfect for a quick lunch! In and out

Sadly this restaurant doesn't know how to take responsibility for simple requests. I specifically wrote to include napkins and utensils with my delivery order and whoever answered the phone excused themselves saying "the kitchen doesn't know English. You shouldn't have selected 'no' for utensils" which I informed them that I didn't... Then they started coming up with more excuses like "sometimes the notes don't get printed" and I pointed out that the note was visible on the delivery slip stapled to the bag. And then they hung up. I also paid extra for the house made chili oil another time and they didn't include that either. What is the point of special instructions/notes/add-ons if you aren't even going to read them? The second time around they included the house made chili oil that I purchased again but they barely filled a tiny container of it. And the banh mi doesn't even taste that good. The bread and ingredients don't taste very fresh and the mayo tastes quite gross/weird. And the iced coffee is bitter, even with extra condensed milk added. It's like it's gone bad.

I've been back to Nón Lá twice and enjoyed my meal both times. I get the beef ball pho, which is delicious. The broth is really flavorful and rich. I've also tried a bit of my friend's Bún bò Huế, which was also really good. The restaurant is pretty small with not a lot of seating. I went on a Sunday night with a group of 8 people and we were able to get seated in around half an hour. The food was also served super quickly.
