This place is no longer good. Been here 3 times before the new menu and really loved it. Told everyone about it and gosh I’m wrong… Recently took my colleague here and they changed their menu. Not much to choose from and food is not that great quality wise, flavor is fine nothing special anymore. Not sure if the raw ceviche or wine or cream udon, I had food poisoning…yuck

I wouldn’t have came to this place if my friend invited me. I thought it’s a good find. Causal spot with vegetarian options. The server was very helpful. I asked for vegan options, they said there aren’t really truly vegan options. The vegetable tempura is fried in the same oil as the fish. I tried their shishito peppers and the vegetable udon. The vegetable udon was tasty. I had cold sake with my food. It’s a busy place so definitely recommend making a reservation. Not bad overall.

We had a wonderful team dinner here. The food was out of this world. It did not feel like we were sacrificing a whole evening for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain...

Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, the Core Four

I used to love this place until they removed 90% of yakitori items from the menu. The new menu either tastes too salty or tasteless. I missed the old NONONO.

My family of four was in line when they opened on a Saturday night without a reservation. They were able to seat us quickly. Our waiter asked if anyone has a food allergy. My daughter is highly allergic to fish. Our waiter checked with the kitchen to make sure there was no cross contamination for her order of Kalbi Don. He told us the miso soup had fish so my husband had the soup.
We had the Yakitori thighs, Yaki Corn, Kalbi Don, Ji-Do-Ri Karage, Yakitori Don, and Sukiyaki Udon. Everything was delicious!!!

I’ve been here three times it’s really cool, delicious, and the service is amazing!
the waiters are friendly and always recommend great dishes if you don’t know what to choose.
I highly recommend ordering the ceviche, it’s just incredible: so tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced!
one portion per person is enough, and if you’re alone, one serving will do.
the appetizers are also very tasty, and the presentation is beautiful the tableware has a nice Japanese style.
too bad I only discovered this place a few months ago! It’s always full, so it’s better to make a reservation.

Was looking for an Izakaya close to Amtrak. This ended up being a great pick, with yummy skewers and unique ramen (ground meat, spicy broth, total bliss)

Casual yakitori spot - great value! Love the DIY hand roll and karaage too. Would definitely recommend an extra serving of the tsukune (chicken meatball skewer). So flavourful!

Looking for a cozy place for lunch with the kids, I stumbled upon this place. The menu was very varied and provided plenty of options for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, and everything was excellent. Maybe just dessrt not to many options.
Our favorite was their kalbi, which was so juicy and melted in your mouth. And Tsukune was great too!
The service was also excellent. Kudos to the staff who served our table. I will definitely be back!

The food at NONONO is so fun! We were staying nearby and found this place via Google Maps. The chicken meatball was AWESOME, we also enjoyed the corn and two sushi rolls. We were able to sneak in a late-night reservation, and the staff was very accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
