Excellent Japanese yakiniku. Try various skewers with chicken and beef. The seaweed salad was superb. So fresh! Delicious. We ordered it three times!
The place was packed on Wednesday night.
It has two floors.
Reservations are definitely recommended!

Was lucky enough to walk in and get a table. Enjoyed the cod udon and Hokkaido milk soft serve immensely. The vibe is really cozy but chic. The servers here were really on top of things.

A gem of a Japanese restaurant, what separates Nonono from others is they crush each variety offering. Their make-your-own handrolls were unique and delicious. The various fried appetizers nailed their landings. And the soft serve dessert was both simple yet delectable. I love this spot!

The service is absolute 0/10. On Valentines’s day me and my girlfriend went to this place. She ordered salmon tataki with avocado sauce. My girlfriend is allergic to cilantro and it didn’t say in the menu that avocado sauce in her dish contains it. When i double checked with the waiter if they can re-do the sauce without cilantro he said that he can ask the kitchen. Instead of that he spoke with the other waiter and the other one approached to us to ask what’s wrong. After explaining to him MULTIPLE times he started to scream at me that “they have over 200 guests in here and the kitchen is too busy and they don’t have time to work with unprepared stuff”. Crazy right? It’s not like i’m ordering for free or getting food aid. I’m paying money JUST like everybody else. And we were willing to wait if it will take more time than usual but nobody even offered us that option. So my girlfriend had no other choice but to order something okay but she didn’t want that that much only because she HAD to. It’s afternoon of saturday on valentines day. We wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else where we could dine.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been working on a kitchen for the most of my life and i know how busy it can get sometimes. But i never refused to complete any special requests from the guests. Because who am i to judge wether you get what you want or don’t? I’m getting paid for this. Guest is PAYING for this. I hope this message will reach manager of the restaurant and they will take some actions about it.

Happy Hour Premium Malt beer is great pairing with Yakitori. The chicken quality is very good. DIY hand roll is also tasty. The Hokkaido ice cream tops it all up! Excellent experience.

I’ve been coming here more than 20 times, but I think the chef or owner recently changed or something, because the food is terrible now. It used to be really good, but now it doesn’t taste good at all. I won’t be coming back anymore.

Delicious Japanese food. The menu has lots of options, also lunch is great too. I have done lunch and dinner a few times. Lunch menu offers set price lunch options. Dinner atmosphere is fun , vibrant & warm. Music is not loud. I suggest you try the eggplant dengaku and for desert the rain drop pudding. Yummy

Restaurant was spacious and not too loud - good catch up spot. Food overall had good prices

- Cod roe cream udon: 8/10, pretty creamy and flavorful, and lots of mushrooms and chicken. Not as much roe. Chicken was a little gamey imo, but I LOVED the mushrooms and noodles
- Chicken thigh yakitori: 8/10, flavorful!
- Lotus root, bacon, and mozzarella: 7/10, pretty yummy, and ever tried something like this
- Shrimp katsu: 7/10, had higher expectations but it lowkey lacked flavor. Texture was good tho

*Note: Wanna come back to try their lunch special and sushi/raw fish dishes

This cozy restaurant never disappoints with its small plates cooked to perfection.
Surprisingly the restaurant was very busy for a Monday night on both floors. Servers were attentive throughout the meal always making sure we had clean plates and were happy.
We shared several dishes and ordered a bit too much but everything is always so good. It's hard not to!
It's best to make reservations especially if you are a big group.
