I LOVE THIS BAR SO MUCH. I have been coming here forever after work and I celebrated my birthday there the other day. The staff (KC, Skai, Molly, Kate, Cyllan, Cory, literally everyone who was there) were so accommodating and made sure that my night went by smoothly. Drinks were amazing, service was fast despite it being a busy night. I reserved the back room for my lil party and it was actually perfect. Music was lit and the DJ was great. Me and my group had so much fun and it was the best birthday I’ve had in a long long long time. Absolutely spectacular.

I’ve had this place on my list for some time now. I lived in the area and saw it open and many people didn’t know it existed at the time. Finally went on Monday night around 9 and there were hardly anyone there. They make you wait behind a rope like it was some exclusive bar. I arrived before my friend did and was seated next to a couple. When my friend arrived the man at the bar shouted at him and asked him to wait to be seated. He pointed to me to say that I was with him and the man at the bar (long dreds) came over to him like he was security and kept telling him to wait. We were already told about the hooks under the table which didn’t fit our coats at the time so placed our jacket next to us and this triggered the man behind the bar. I understand the table next to us had a Reserved sign but there was no one there yet. He got annoyed and said to move our jackets from the seat next to us. Mind you the seats are together. We got annoyed ourselves and just put our jackets on our lap. It got worse from then. The server had zero patience as she kept asking what my friend wanted after only having seated 2 minutes. When the couple seated next to us left the server seemed to have seated two of her friends next to us and we could hear her complaints about things which made it awkward. They serve drinks in the smallest glass. For an Aperol spritz and Prosecco it wasn’t even served in a proper way. Also didn’t make a proper Aperol spritz. How do you mess that up? As groups of people came in who seemed to be a bit of a much older crowd (50s -60s) the server became even more impatient to a point where me and my friend decided to just end the night. She continually asked if we wanted to order anything else. I wasn’t even done with my drink. We were there for maybe an hour and a half and it was uncomfortable. The service was horrible. There was nothing special about this place although it looked interested when you pass by. From the inside it looked like nothing special. The vibe was awful. I now know the reason why not so many locals come here. It seems to attract mainly tourists which filled the entire bar when we went. It would’ve been an ok experience had it not been for the way my friend was greeted at the door. This is not an exclusive bar stop acting like it’s a club. Super disappointed. It’s very rare I don’t recommend places. This is definitely NOT getting my recommendation. There’s a better bar nearby. Save yourself the time coming here and dealing with an unprofessional staff.

So great that we went back three times in two nights. The staff we met are so friendly and welcoming. We want to give a very special thanks and appreciation for Cooper, Kate, and Salam who made our visit to NYC that much better and memorable. Over our visits we tried the Cloak & Dagger (whiskey based), Crimson Kiss (tequila based), and two incredible warm cocktails, Abueletas Amor and the Chai Tai. This place will be a definite visit in any trips to NYC.
