We had dinner here on Sept. 11, and from the minute we entered everything was perfect. The hostess greeted us very warmly and the waiter and waitstaff are incredibly attentive. Our waiter knew every special by memory, and there were many to choose from, and didn't skip a beat as he described every one of them to us. (it was difficult to choose after hearing them). The breadsticks are crisp and delicious and the bread was a nice tuscan slice, which I dipped in the olive oil...
Picked this lovely restaurant on a whim (mostly good location) and was not disappointed!! There are many Italian restaurants in New York City, but this one was a standout at a good price point. The ambience was upscale and casual, the service extremely attentive, and the food prepared with attention to detail. Will definitely come again and use it as a go to when in the city !
Epitome of a neighborhood gem, and classic nyc Italian restaurant. Right for any occasion or number of diners. Main menu is wonderful, and the seasonal specials ARE special. Very good wine list and wine by the glass options. Lovely every time.
