A truly wonderful evening. The food was interesting, well-prepared and delicious. The service was gracious and attentive without being intrusive. The room is beautiful and cozy - but not too tightly packed. I'll definitely be back soon.
The server spilled clams all over me and ruined my new coat. It was my first time wearing it. He said sorry. The olive oil and clam smell cannot be removed and the coat cannot be washed. Dry cleaners told me the olive oil cannot be removed. My daughter saw him drinking at the bar and he was bumping into tables and chairs. I used to wait tables, I understand accidents happen but it seems that he was drinking on the job and I saved a long time to buy this coat. I was very sad and...
The food was good. The calamari salad was the bet calamari we've ever had. Had to wait 35 minutes for our order to be taken. Had to keep asking for water because the waiters were so busy. They sat us next in a corner which we thought was lovely, but it turned out to be adjacent to the bar and there was a ton of banging so we couldn't really speak and it was quite uncomfortable. People were super nice though and the food was actually excellent.
