The food was so good and service was very quick! Everything came out hot and our waters were also refilled. Walking in on a Saturday afternoon I was not prepared for a club like atmosphere. Music is very loud, and very dark inside, especially in the bathroom. I could barely talk to the person 1 foot in front of me. I’d probably recommend getting the food togo.

we had the 6-course tasting menu and everything was great. ricotta toast and burger (we added bacon) were phenomenal. i would have actually loved the ricotta toast at the end bc there was a certain sweetness to it that would have ended the meal perfectly. the rice cakes were somewhat an acquired taste but did taste really good.

only negative was that the restaurant is small and the tables are almost right on top of each other

One of the most amazing culinary experiences I’ve had in NYC. Great vibe and even more amazing food. The service is fast and the staff is supper nice. Their Mixtape Classic is to die for- best meal for two.

They’ve changed the burger bun recently and it’s kind of rubbery now?

guys whoever is coming from that tik tok let me make it more clear lmao- ITS $50 per person😹 not $50 for 2 people😭

yes it says on their menu… but I swear another customer literally asked this to us too when we got seated cause she was unsure too LMAO. I don’t think it’s clear enough.

and guys… the food is not that good to be $50 per person. tater tots, hamburger, two small skewers, small chicken plate, some rice cakes… L O L.

also they said it was an hour wait… it was 15 minutes. I think they wanna like build hype around this restaurant when in reality there are available seats.

I had only their burger and it was good. Like a smash patty but a little thicker so it had bite but also that Maillard crust. Kimchi was not doing anything for me and tasted like you could get the kimchi from some generic Korean restaurant, nothing special.

Damn this place was gas as hell. Loved the vibe inside and the music. Did The Classic tasting menu and everything hit the spot mmm.

Started with the Black Sesame Caesar Salad which was great like the sesame really did it for me here.

Next was the Lamb Skewer which was super tender and that gochujang was just pure heat like I could eat it with a spoon.

After that, the General Lee’s Fried Chicken which like damn General Tso keep one eye open at night cuz mmmmm. Okay the meat was a bit fatty but the sauce was so so so good.

Chopped Cheese Rice Cakes were so interesting. Very cheesy like much more cheese than beef but the rice cakes were extra chewy and fun.

Finally The Legendary Cheeseburger which was absolutely terrific in every way imaginable. Like I have not had a cheeseburger that good in a LONG time. Might even be one of my fav burgers ive ever had. Excellent char on the patties that the edges were even a bit crunchy like yes thats exactly how I want my burger. And the added kimchi was just perfect.

Had the Garlic Honey Butter Tots on the side with that and these were perfect too. So sweet and crunchy I loved those little things.

This tasting menu thing going on here really is such a great value like I’ll absolutely be bringing people here.

After seeing a lot of hype online about this place, my friends and I gave it a try and left so happy and satisfied! Favorite things of the meal were the Ricotta toast and the Chop cheese rice cakes!! We also tried Lamb skewers, Legendary burger, Tater tots, General lees chicken, and cucumbers (not needed, nothing special).

Pro tip, if you are going with 3 people, ordering all the items on the Classic fixed menu à la carte is cheaper! And we ordered 2 full burgers instead of the 1.5 we would have got on fixed menu.

The burger was good and the crew is very accommodating for allergies which I appreciated. Got the chicken sandwich after the burger but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations considering it’s 3X a fast food joint cost. Add on prices and the lack of complimentary fries make it a one stop dine in for me.

This place is a vibe and a half. Food slaps, service is quick and friendly and the drinks are on point. The burger is worth the hype.

Fun, bold, and full of energy. The red interior and Go Stop inspired vibe give this place a lot of personality, and it feels very NYC.

The burgers are the highlight juicy, flavorful, and definitely worth the hype. Service is friendly and relaxed, matching the overall vibe.

Great spot for a casual night out with friends or a laid back date when you want something loud and fun.
