I return here again and again. It is my favorite spot to bring my "jaded" Native New Yorker friends to blow them away with the experience of walking into this room decor, which then sets off the fab views. For NYC, the prices are on-par with any high-end bars. I always order a Foggy Bottom cocktail, and the oysters which the presentation always sets the tone for the evening. It was a very good travel experience for me. Plan this in advance so that you will remember to pack a coat (for men) and heels (for ladies). There is a dress code requirement. It is expected since the bar is located inside the luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton.

Exclusive room located on the rooftop of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, once you enter the lobby, head to the third desk on the left where you can register your access upon viewing your identity documents. Take the elevator to the top to enjoy the best sunset seen during my time in the City (and I've seen some from Empire, SUMMIT and Edge). Cost of cocktails obviously prohibitive, but you also pay and above all the experience.
