The beef is high quality and truly premium—absolutely delicious. However, server rushed us and the lady placed the side dishes on the table without much patience. We only had about an hour and ten minutes for three people, which felt very rushed, especially considering we paid around $400.

I was so excited about Nubiani, especially after our usual KBBQ spot closed. High-quality meat, delicious banchan, and a great mushroom japchae made it a pleasure to come to Nubiani half a dozen times. Now, don't get me wrong, the foods is incredible. Great pork belly, amazing galbi, delicious egg, and a really fantastic dessert that's given on the house.

However, we'll no longer be coming due to an unreasonable ask for at least one meat order on the grill per person, regardless if you order appetizers.

With three people, two meats, plus an appetizer and banchan is a completely reasonable order, and forcing people to order an extra meat just doesn't feel right—what if someone is a vegetarian and just getting japchae? Either way, really disappointed that this policy was put in place and hope they reconsider.

Best KBBQ I’ve ever had. The employees and service are so good and it’s perfect for a nice casual dinner. We got the large beef package, A5 wagyu, and shrimp chive pancake. The meat quality was insane and the pancake was great. One of my favorite side dishes was the kimchi stew - it was the best I’ve tasted. I will definitely be going so much more! You definitely get your money’s worth here

This is my first time writing a review for a restaurant but the food and service was so good during my visit that I had to for this restaurant. The only bad thing about this restaurant was the cramped elevator to get to the restaurant, we were a party of 6 and we actually had to split our party to go up to the restaurant and it was still tight.

The atmosphere and views are different from any korean bbq places ive visited, it has a nice ambiance and the service was on point. Derek was my server and he made sure to accommodate my friend of a allergy and explained the items to avoid, and actually brought out extra banchan in order to accommodate her allergy. He was on top of the grilling and made sure we constantly had meat ready to eat: and without saying anything, he would be replacing the side dishes and our sauces whenever it was low. Derek was amazing and this place has become a place I need to revisit every time I am in New York.

Have been a big fan of Nubiani since it opened. It’s a great, usually pretty accessible, higher-end KBBQ option. I’ve been at least 5-7 times but at our most recent visit this past weekend we were informed of a new one meat per person minimum which is a ridiculous amount of food to expect a party to order. I totally understand and have no problem with enforcing a minimum pre person spend (alcohols, starters, other mains…) but mandating that each person has to order a meat is completely unreasonable. We won’t be back unless that rule is dropped. Silly policy that doesn’t seem to have been well throughout. Hope mgmt does the right thing and evaluates.

Food was good and meat was high quality. However, they were slow on service and kicked us out right at the hour and a half mark despite us not being done eating. They were also a bit rude about it. For the price I think that is unacceptable

We just walked in a few minutes ago to Nubiani on a rainy Sunday NY afternoon (3:30-4)… the restaurant was half empty… a server came to my sister and I and said that someone will be with us. The front desk lady was on the phone for quite some time. A Korean man wearing a black suit brought his iPad out and asked if we had reservations… we said no was told they don’t take walk ins. What a load of crap! Your restaurant was half empty, your iPad showed that you had open tables… we’ve been patrons of the restaurant and had walked in before. I hope the owner reads this review and re-evaluates who manages their restaurant. Bad business practice and bad customer service.

One of the fancier Korean restaurants I’ve been to. The service was very good - they cook the meat for you, they refill the Banchan without being asked. The egg soufflé thing was good but a little salty. The Banchan was good and the kahlbi excellent. The brisket was too fatty.
I didn’t like that each person had to order a meat dish

We had lunch special marinated pork Kalbi. Woosung, our server showed outstanding, kind, polite and just impeccable service. Nubiani should be so proud of having him.

Foods were excellent. A bit pricey but in general, I would highly recommend this place.
