I feel guilty for wanting this place all to myself because it's so good. The staff handled my children's requests with grace. This place distinguishes itself clearly. Their menu offerings and service quality merit top rating. You should taste what this spot offers once.

We tried almost everything on their $60 four-course pre-fixe menu and paired it with a bottle of Macabeu/Garnacha, though due to a misunderstanding, we ended up with Albariño instead.

The patatas bravas were spot on. The hamachi leaned a bit too fishy for my taste; the sauce had good acidity but wasn’t fully integrated with the fish. The cold soba with bottarga was excellent, and the salad was fresh, well-seasoned, and balanced. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, but the quality felt a bit average—I was hoping for a stronger pepper note. The chicken sandwich was solid, and the mousse with an olive oil drizzle was a clever touch that added flavor without overpowering the dessert.

Overall, a great dining experience with a promising menu, though a few dishes could use small improvements to fully shine.

Came here for restaurant week!
The restaurant week menu is an objectively good value for the amount of food you get. I didn’t love everything, however.
Partner & I both got the Hamachi — it was quite fishy and the sauce wasn’t strong enough.
I got the celery salad — it was drenched in olive oil, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. My partner got the soba noodles which were very good.
Also got the hanger steak — quite good! The sauce is overtly sweet but it was cooked well.
For dessert I got the chocolate mousse, which I was so excited for… but it was also drenched in olive oil?? Which also wasn’t mentioned on the menu?
Standouts: the mocktails are very good. Get the duck croquettes as well. Pricey but worth it.
Overall, the ambiance of here doesn’t justify the prices outside of restaurant week, but it’s worth a try right now.

Visited during the Restaurant Week, food and service were amazing I had a wonderful night with my friend. The wine pairing complemented each dish perfectly, and the staffs were incredibly welcoming and professional throughout the evening. Love to visit again 🙂‍↕️✨

Excellent Gilda martinis- the olives/anchovies were perfect. Duck with scallion pancake was amazing. Mushroom dish was spectacular, and croquettes were very snackable. The mussels with ritz like crackers were good too!

Service was on point—our waitress was a total legend, really helpful with the menu and allergies (because nothing ruins a night like an EpiPen). Can’t wait to go back, either to sample more of the menu, or order the exact same thing again!

Just came here for some drinks bc I thought the happy hr is no longer on, but turns out they do still have it from 5:30-7pm. Their drinks were alright, nothing spectacular but I’m sure it pleases most people. They have a duck fat-washed old fashioned which was pretty interesting, but obviously not recommended for people who don’t like the taste of fat. I’ll come back to try the food here which also sounds interesting.

The roast duck was absolutely outstanding — incredibly tender, juicy, and evenly cooked. The skin was perfectly crispy with a delicious seasoning that really elevated the dish. It also came with a generous variety of sides that paired beautifully with the duck. The mushroom dish was also a standout, with rich and well-balanced seasoning. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high-quality. The Basque cheesecake was divine — not overly sweet, with a wonderfully smooth and dense texture. On top of that, the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and elegant — perfect for a dinner with friends.

Excellent food, everything was interesting and delicious. The prix fixe is a very good deal, I ended up very satisfied with the amount of food. The basque cheesecake was delicious and the portion was larger. The staff is friendly and does a good job, but they are understaffed, so everything takes a long time. The place plays loud music and was very cold in Summer, I asked them to lower the volume and they agreed, but didn't make the change. I felt like they wanted me to leave quickly (and ironically it took forever to get the check).

Don’t come. AC don’t work well. Warm as heck. U gotta work for 40min for the duck. Worst fine dinning ever.

Instant classic. Such amazing and smart cooking. I don’t remember a place that made every dish uniquely amazing since I walked into a former east village institution like Momofuku. Will be back often. The duck and the cod are insane!!!

Came as a party of 4 and went with the prix-fixe, which was definitely the way to go. Very fairly priced for a prix-fixe especially for the amount of food you get.

There was a solid amount of diversity in the options and some definitely worked better than others, but overall the food was good. Presentation of the food was lovely, which I always appreciate.

Definitely a solid option for the area.

Don’t let the modest decor fool you—this place delivers big on flavors!

Fun inventive Euro-Asian fusion with a tapas-style menu that invites you to hop 🐸 around— which I gladly did, sampling 7 dishes, starting with Percebes conserva and the frog legs.

Two my dishes have been staples since day one, and it’s easy to taste why: beautifully balanced, layered, and crave-worthy. The Basque cheesecake was an appropriate knockout finale

Service was impeccable. The staff knows their stuff, and the owner is hands-on in the best way—present, passionate, and proud of what they’ve built. (EMP Alum btw)

This place could go toe-to-toe with any Bib Gourmand and is absolutely worth crossing town for.

We did the prix fixe, everything delicious, highlights were the frog legs and steak tartare. Heat of passion and yuzu penicillin the best cocktails. Dessert was remarkable, coconut semifreddo with black pepper crumble and basque cheesecake with mango compote. Basque cheesecake is usually too dry, this was nice and moist, and the compote was thick instead of runny. Service attentive and unobtrusive, interior cute, lots of couples on dates having a lovely evening. We’ll come back for this chicken sandwich everyone’s talking about.
