Whomever makes the food clearly doesn't know how to follow instructions. No lettuce or tomatoes means NO LETTUCE OR TOMATOES!!

Do not order delivery from here. My order should have been delivered between 9:40pm to 9:50pm. By 10:10pm I still hadn’t received my order so I called them and the deli worker told me the order was out for delivery and he would call the delivery man to ask him where he was at and then call me back. He did not call me back, I had to call him again and he told me the order is going to be late you still want it and I said yes and he said okay so don’t worry it’s on its way. Then 5 minutes later he calls me back saying sorry we have to cancel your order because we don’t have delivery persons at this time. When I called him out on lying because he clearly said the man was on his way he then says the bike just stopped working. Unprofessional!

I've been going to this store for over a year. The guys that ran the store until recently- Ali, Ralphy, Naseem and Abraham- had excellent customer service skills and knew how to keep up with the crowd and the neighborhood. If anything was ever wrong with the food, they would try to resolve the issue promptly.Depending on which cook is there, you'll either have a disaster of an order or a delicious one that will have you coming back.Recently, it has been a very different situation. The store is under new management. I do not see any of the familiar faces from before. The prices are INFLATED. They make up arbitrary prices on the spot. They tried to charge $5 for a gallon of water! My reg breakfast sandwich is all of a sudden $5 when I usually pay $3.50 (anywhere I go in NYC, including here before new management). They have increased the minimum order for delivery which has many neighborhood residents incensed.I used to go to this store at least once a day.Now I barely make it once a few times a month. If I need anything from the grocery store, I go to the one that is across the street from this one, on the corner. While they may not have a nice set up, their prices are always fair and they try to be nice. (As of July 2022, this store has burned now and is rebuilding).

Sometimes the shop is a little too packed and the staff has a tough time keeping customers in line. The food is good. The chopped cheese is one of the best in the city.

A lot of people are complaining about delivery time, but as I live nearby, I can only speak to the quality of the food and the employees themselves. They're more of a walk-in place and they don't seem to have their own dedicated delivery staff, so what do you expect from a corner bodega? The folks working there are good people, I go there regularly because that's where folks around here go when they want a reliably good meal at a reasonable price. And that's what you get: consistency, speed, a reliably good deli sandwich, and good people from your neighborhood saying hello. I personally enjoy the chop cheese, the chicken cheese steak, the chicken salad hero, or their paninis.
