We were headed for an Italian restaurant but decided on something lighter and chose noodles. What a gem this is. Behind the plain exterior is a modern and comfortable restaurant and the best ramen that I have had and really friendly staff. Oh what a delight! We started with squid legs and seaweed salad, both of which were excellent and the ramen dishes substantial.

The ramen is good, portions are abundant and noodles came firm and not soft. There is also a good range of other "asian specialties" created for the taste of the New Yorkers, not bad anyway. Staff is average in a New York ranking: efficient, not really friendly but who is in New York? Price is not cheap (how could it be?) but affordable and coherent with what you get.

Really great bar area - food was fantastic and the place turned out to be a nice locals spot. Fun, good music with great vibe. Great for craft cocktails, sake and Japanese whiskies. Even has some nice Japanese beers.

Great food with great prices (especially during the happy hour) and really friendly service. Highly recommend ?

I ordered the signature Miso Meijin Ramen, and it was kinda underwhelming. The ramen was neither authentic nor an innovative twist that impressed. In fact, I don't think this is the place to come to for authentic ramen, as there was only one choice of pork both ramen, as opposed to the several beef broth options (which is not a traditional soup base).

We found this place when in the area and were blown away with how good the ramen is. Cannot wait to go back to try other ramen dishes. Easily the best I've ever had. This is worth going out of your way for.

Went there for drinks. They really have a large array of quite tasty sakés and it's worth it for Happy Hour. The problem is, they push you after that to eat, and it's difficult to push back. Food was more average.

First. I'm not a huge fan of Ramen but my daughter is. The food and drinks are seriously amazing. The lychee mojito and crepe cheesecake are unexpected delights. The pork in the ramen was extra tender. The tuna in the poke bowl extra fresh. Go here.

This restaurant changed the name to NY Mei Jin from Hua Xia. We booked a event there for 7 table the night before and 8 tables the day after. We cannot pick the entree since it's considered an event and had to go with a "pre-arranged menu." The food was decent the first night and we thought it was a good choice booking lunch there the following day. Well, things turn south quick during the next day, we where rushed to eat our meal as they were trying to clear us out so another event can take place, Wtf! Why would you double book with such close time in between?!?! They had serve not only a cheaper quality entree and charge us 20% MORE, 40 of our relatives who ate there got sick, leading to vomiting and diarrhea. The last kicker, they "forgot" to apply the deposit amount we gave them to the bill?!?! They didn't forget, they deliberately did it as we are from out of state and try to scam us. Beware of this place and the scam artist lady boss there.

Really great family run spot with authentic dishes. It's definitely an almost entirely Chinese crowd, so call ahead on weekend evenings, because they host wedding parties a lot. Waiters are always up for giving seasonal and fresh recs so if you're adventurous, just ask what's good. Will update this review once I get a handle of dish names ;)

We got the fish maw soup, ginger lobster and 梅菜扣肉 (Chinese braised pork belly). All pretty good, especially the pork belly, which was fatty, tender, and melt worthy.
