I read the reviews before ordering DoorDash. Since it was mixed I went ahead and rolled the dice hoping for a 4 or 5 star meal. When the food arrived, everything was packaged really well. The tacos all looked good. They were hot and carefully prepared, in appearance. The chicken tacos and potato tacos were okay, average. The Al Pastor was awful, like barely edible. It was floating in oil. In fact, there was so much oil, it was all over the bag and other tacos. And it tasted bad.

We were in NYC visiting from Texas and we decided to give this place a try since it was one of the few taco spots open at 1030pm. By the way, I am talking about the location on 152 E 33rd St in NY. Look, I ain't the type to write reviews but these tacos were so horrible I had to let people know so they dont waste their money. This is by far the worst tacos I ever ate in my life!!! No taste, cold, and tortillas were super hard. It took forever to get our food and there was only 6 people total in the place. The cook moves like a sloth and obviously hates his job. The waitress was nice and even she knows the tacos are bad because she recommended we go to Brooklyn for better tacos. Bottom line, don't waste your time and money on this location. Best tacos we had was Los Tacos No.1, but they close at 9. For $5 a taco, you expect the food to be hot at the least. Worst Tacos hands down, too bad I cant give 0 stars. There you have it, you're welcome.

Ordered delivery and it was possibly the worst food I've ever had delivered. The tacos arrived cold, the tortillas were so soggy you couldn't even pick them up. So much grease. The meat was ice cold and seemed ill-prepared. The $10 guacamole for 1/3 cup of salty, sour, mush should probably be a pass. Save yourself a stomach ache and pass.

This place used to be very good, but unfortunately, it isn't nearly as good as it used to be. The quality of the food, the prices, and the portions changed dramatically. I ordered a barbacoa burrito and the barbacoa looked, tasted, and smelled like dog food. Since I used to really enjoy it there, I gave it another shot but it was still very bad. The employees also mess up the prices every time I have gone there over the past year. Often times I found myself paying a few dollars more and sometimes a few dollars less for the exact same stuff I got. The portions are also a lot smaller than they once were. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. UPDATE: JUST NOTICED MANY OTHER REVIEWS ALSO SAYING THAT THE BARBACOA TASTES LIKE DOG FOOD.

Interesting establishment. Food is good we ordered a taco and the Chicken Quesadilla, the drinks were alright 2 white wines and canned beer. Definitely more of a order and pick up the food or use the Doordash/Grubhub establishment. There is no space inside to sit, we were a group of 3 and the outdoor area was ok but you order inside and wait for the food and drinks. Doesn't feel like a place to dine in or out, sorry.

Great tacos. Particularly like the carnitas, al pastor, chorizo (very spicy) and rajas. Order a combo of 3 and it comes with rice and beans. Traditional Mexican sodas (jarritos) - all flavors good.

You guys make the most delicious food, but somewhere along the line you started making $12.5 burritos like 5 inches long. Please start making normal size burritos again, I want more than just a snack for that price, I love coming here but honestly find it hard to justify the cost every time I get a burrito this tiny.

Burritos are flavored well, though I wish the elotes came on the cob! Large burrito is definitely a great value too

Got a chicken burrito here last night, veg burrito is $8 add meat for $4. Price wasn't bad for nyc average size for the price. The food is very fresh, the management was attentive and kind! You can def taste the freshness each ingredient. I wouldn't say this is authentic by any means but def hits the burrito craving and feels better than chipotle lol. I'll prob be back here due to convenience, over all a good spot, curious to try out other items on the menu.

Mediocre tacos. Definitely not worth anything more than 2 stars. Customers service was good.

You know how people always talk about "hole in the wall" places that have the best food? This is one of those. You'd almost miss it walking by on the street, but it's some of the tastiest Mexican food I've ever had. The staff are incredibly nice + friendly too. I've ordered from here several times and have never been disappointed. My family recently placed a big order with some very specific recommendations, and Oaxaca absolutely nailed it - everything was perfect. This is my go-to! Highly, highly recommend.

An unfortunate visit to Oaxaca Taqueria. I came in with high hopes seeing their Instagram buzzing with their photos of flavorful tacos and the like. My boyfriend and I ordered the barbacoa, carnitas, el pastor, brisket, and I can't remember the last as all were unmemorable. We also ordered the overpriced $13 chips with trio 4oz to go cups of guac, queso, and salsa too. The outdoor seating looked closed and the overhead lights weren't on but we sat down anyway. The employee eventually turned them on before we started eating. She was kind. The food took quite a long time to be delivered and all in to go containers which she hadn't asked if we were taking them to go. I thought maybe they are handcrafting each of these tacos to be really great. All of the tacos were dry. The foliage in the outdoor seating area indicated the how dry these tacos were to be. They lacked flavor. With the opening of each taco, I hoped for a better experience. I didn't get one. Drenched in salsa, we eventually made it through them all. The two stars are for the chips and the queso which weren't so bad but even still, small in size. We were hungry but a disappointing $42 meal that I could've made much better myself.

Best burrito eaten while in Manhattan! ideal for a lunch break or for take away. Small but nice and well-kept place. Friendly staff and yummy food!

Lovely place, very cozy n with nice atmosphere. The burrito was so delicious and amazing. Will definitely come back.

This place had no idea they were on OpenTable. There wasn't a single person dining there when I got there. I had a massive party of 10 and no tables were set up, no lights outside were on, nothing. We decided to cross the street and go to Cask. I'm sure it is great for takeout, but they are not aware of their own reservations so I recommend not booking them.
