The experience was terrible; food was fine. Here's details -We ordered nearly an hour ahead of time for pickup via Seamless and they said they never received the order. I showed them the receipt on my phone with details. Despite that, there was no hustle to get it rectified.I was the only customer there for 5 min without any movement on getting my order.After realizing they were late, the said he had the order but it had just come through. He said it would be ready in 5 min. Then he disappeared and another guy started working.They 2nd Oaxaca worker then took another walk-in group before even working on our order. I assumed they were perhaps working on it in the back? Nope! After finishing with the walk-in group they new Oaxaca worker said he never received the order and it was a system issue he finally started making it.System errors do happen, but other places adjust much differently. Minimal effort to get us taken care of, minimal empathy to us being late because of it. After all of that they didn't offer a discount for that meal, any free extras or anything.It felt like neither of the Oaxaca workers wanted to be there or cared about the customer experience.The lack of urgency was beyond frustrating. We ordered nearly an hour ahead of time and waited 20min after arriving.They seemed indifferent to failing a customer in the first experience with Oaxaca.The food was fine and tasty as any other Mexican restaurant, but we were so late by the time we received it so weren't able to enjoy it.With so many other Mexican restaurants, I'd choose any of them over this one.

This place is obviously one of the most attractive place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I come to this place I am awfully happy. They manage their very high level service and the highest level of meals they offer. You always win with this place. Highly recommended.

This place has great filling combinations you can't find elsewhere and I love food from the Oaxaca region. The staff is always super friendly and kind when I come. I just have a few complaints about quality that would make the place on level with other Taquerias: would be much better if they had fresh tortilla chips- it's so easy when they have so many locations and it makes a world of difference. Also, I ordered one taco bc tacos are touch n go in NYC- the tortilla wasn't warmed up... also there was pico de Gallo on my Mole taco, which was tasty but a bit odd.And yes, I'm still eating lunch at my laptop during quarantine :-P

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this great restaurant. Well we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was definitely the reason for this happy evening. The waiters collaborated in a lovely way, the cuisine was very good and my guests were so happy. We shall surely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

Me and my co-workers love Oaxaca Taqueria. Great tacos, food is good. Unlimited hot sauces. Their Horchata is good and they have Jarritos (tradicional Mexican soda). 3 tacos, rice and frijoles for $11.95 (You cannot go wrong!). Staff is really friendly and helpful. Location is clean. You can order online! Not overpriced!
