Nice Place

OCabanon hosted our company's holiday happy hour on short notice and it could not have been a better experience. Armel and his staff were attentive and accommodating our group of 15+. Service, atmosphere, food and drink were all outstanding.

We had reservations for Thanksgiving evening, the restaurant offered a special menu for $59. For this price, a small salad to share, two mayo eggs and two cups of corn soup, as a starter. The dish, turkey of course, a slice in sauce, garnished with mash and a few green beans. To finish off the dessert, a slice of pecan pie, a slice of pumpkin and a scoop of ice cream. A glass of mulled wine was offered. However, it would have been wise to specify in the menu that the pumpkin pie was with cinnamon, as well as the scoop of ice cream (and the mulled wine too apparently, but we didn't have any). Hating cinnamon, we left everything , and apparently the pumpkin was not unanimous because the two tables next to us (with whom we spoke) barely touched it as well. We were expecting a small restaurant with whom we could speak French and we had a waiter who didn't speak a word, too bad. Fortunately we had our friendly neighbors. So to conclude, a little disappointment this evening, for a bill, with a bottle of sparkling water and a beer, for a total of $176 tax and service included. So I would like to point out that everything was really very good (except the cinnamon) without being wow phew either and that the note only reflects the evening. Opinion shared with our neighbors before departure. But as it is said below in the comments, prices skyrocket quickly in NY and business is business. Best wishes.

In NY, more in a hurry than in France... Dishes that follow one another without having finished the previous one, wine that you didn't taste, more than basic quality and an addition that must be checked twice to avoid to pay double. To avoid

We had a great time. The cuisine is excellent. You would have thought you were in a restaurant in France. The chef Charly is really talented, and the staff is very welcoming. We will recommend this address!

Great place. It was nice to be able to drink a good Médoc wine and meet other French people on vacation in New York!

Went there for a wine tasting, unfortunately the wrong times were posted. Didn't get to fully experience the bar, however it looked nice and decent location.
