Excellent bangers and mash, right around the corner from Broadway. Beer was fine and service outstanding.

Not the best Irish bar we frequented here in NY but the staff were friendly and good drink. The food was OK but a bit expensive for the quality and portions.

The food was amazing, the young waitress with the curly hair had the best costumer service. We
Will be back

Small beers for $12 each and a poor selection of beers on tap for an “Irish” pub. Service was ok but didn’t really want to hear about BS drama with a local.

Great pub, shame the food is poor.

Great little dive bar. Bartender was very friendly & my glass was always full. Highly recommend this place for strong drinks & deep conversations. 🍺🍻🍷🍸🥂🍹🗣️

Food was average, drinks were weak, atmosphere was bizarre— an Irish pub with loud club music. Disappointed. 😔

This place was garbage. Awful service and crap music. Charged us for the wrong food and hovered over when asking for a tip

I stepped out of the hustle and bustle of the theater district and as soon as I walked in the door I couldn't hear a single noise outside of it. I had a quality cod & chips for a reasonable price. If you see Phil he skillfully pours a Guinness the way it should be! I came back for a second visit and Priscilla remembered me and saved my gloves that I left behind.

Very friendly and customer oriented staff in an establishment that preserves a slice of classic New York in its decor and atmosphere. O'Cassey's is a peaceful oasis in the chaos of Times Square. Next time I visit New York I will certainly visit again.

Vodka Cran is $16 but it’s strong & the geezer behind the bar was cool plus the atmosphere was nice.

If you’re galavanting around Times Square and you need to get liquored up, tell your shopping comrades that you’re going for a walk. Head to this place, slam down a couple then meet back up with your shopping friends. Plus they even show premier league games and boxing. So it’s all good.

Rude bartenders, don't bother

WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Everything about it was wonderful: the food (best Eggs Benedict I've ever had), the decor (pictures of Broadway shows and Irish writers adorning their brick walls) and especially the staff straight from Ireland (Meaghan, Steph, and Jake: you are the BEST!) We went back four times in three days, and if we hadn't had to fly home, I'd probably be there now, enjoying a good pour of "Mother's Milk." Slainte! (And thanks to Steph for teaching me how to correctly pronounce that.)

10/20/24: What happened to this place? We came back over a year after I wrote the above review. I don't know if the bar changed ownership, but none of the Irish wait staff were there. They'd been replaced by a staff who was only as polite as they had to be. The food was ordinary, and they were obviously in a hurry to close the kitchen and move us along. Our favorite Irish pub has turned into Just Another Bar. It was a real disappointment, and we won't be back.

Phil, the bartender was so cool! I came in two nights in a row just because of the good service. Food was good too.
