Took advantage of the $95 summmer special. It's a great deal. The porterhouse was very good and an ample size for 2. The sides (creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes) and ceasar salad were all good as well. More than enough food for 2. The regular menu is much pricier, but this deal is a bargain for a great steakhouse porterhouse.

The Old Homestead still offers one of the best steaks in the Big Apple. It can be crowded and noisy—if you prefer it more peaceful, try before or after the dinner rush.

We just expected a little more old school NYC feel and experience. Lobster mac & cheese was excellent. Steak was perfectly cooked but with zero seasoning and plate was barely warm. Old-fashioned was delicious but wine was bordering spoiled.

We had a wonderful family celebration dinner at Old Homestead last night and will remember it for many years. The team working there is fantastic- perfect balance between friendly and professional. The food was amazing, we all loved the assorted steaks & sides we got and the apps and desserts were outrageous as well!

Beautiful manly old-fashioned steakhouse with superb food. Roast beef bone in and steaks were cooked perfectly. Good choice of sides, all well presented. The servers were not always around, however. Better than hovering but if needing anything took some time to get it (though must admit most everything was taken care of in advance).
The $95 porterhouse for two deal is the best deal out there. Plus it comes with a salad and two side dishes.

I was a little disappointed that the service was very slow and the waitress came by once at the end of our dinner also I had specified that it was my daughter Briana's birthday and they didn't do anything don't think I will ever go back not what I expected

Wanted a decent steak without breaking the bank. My daughter was also hot from walking all day and had changed into shorts, so we needed a slightly flexible dress code. This place definitely threaded the needle there. Classic/ vintage steakhouse vibe. Not fancy, just good.

The hostess were very prompt and accommodating upon arrival. The table was in the corner which I liked and the server George made us feel very welcomed and provided us with excellent service. The white wine was chilled and perfect! The steak cooked to perfection and served hot and tasted delicious. Overall, my experience was A+ and already made reservations for next Friday. I will be bringing 5 colleague to try this steakhouse and looking forward to it. Shoutout to the fantastic service from George!!!
