Nice outside seating facing the street. I have only tried the spinach salad and a pastry, which are both great. Great service.

I've been coming in ever since I started attending aerial sessions next door, and they have never let me down! It's so nice to decompress after a couple hours of activity, so it's the perfect way to cap off my day before leaving Union Square. I actually look forward to coming in after my sessions to get some work done and relax- the atmosphere is super conducive to do axactly that and be creative, since I'm an artist. The staff has always been so great, and today I got to meet Nestor Bractto and they made me feel so welcome! I was already planning on coming back, but they've really cememted dropping by Ole & Steen as a permanent part of my schedule! Thanks Nestor!

Bland pastry taste. Copenhagener that was supposed to have almond filling didn’t have anything at all. Have to say, worst pastry I had ever had. Service is nice and coffee OK. Pastry window looks deceiving and much better than actual taste.

The pastries were pretty good. The lemon lavender bar (not a Pop Tart) was superb, flavorful and flaky. The ham cheese egg croissant was a bit overcooked and chewy.The atmosphere was a bit stark to my liking.Very friendly and attentive staff.
