I guess inflations hit every day because the price points in this deli always change. WOW!! I've stopped by this deli a few times and I've seen the price point for something change so often that I really believe they pick and choose. This past Saturday I got a salmon and avocado sandwich for $7.00. Then this past Tuesday I went there again with a few coworkers and that same salmon and avocado sandwich was now $7.95. Just to be aware I did go price check before I bought it original on Saturday. The guy stated to me at 7:45am that the sandwich would be 6.95. So when I got there at 11:20 he charged me 7.00. I didn't mind it because it was only five cents. However, 95cents is a whole lot more than 5 cents. This is still the cheapest salmon and avocado sandwich I've come across in Manhattan though. So I won't let it bother me that much. I just budget everything so having the price change everyday or every week is a bit annoying. Maybe it's just dependent on whose making your sandwich. I'm not sure others notice but I do because I've recently been taught by my financial advisor. It is still a great sandwich and well worth the frustration. I mean not really but it's better than paying $10 and $12.

Beware!! Tourist who visits Time Square, never buy here if not emergency. Prices of snacks are double for the Tourist. (They thought I'm one of them, but im local)...Dirties Deli I've been in manhattan...don't understand how they still running. I would give 0 stars if there's an option.

So this place is by my job and I go once in a blue out of convenience but it kills me, the guy behind the breakfast counter has a real chip on his shoulder and hates his job, you need to repeat your order a minimum of 3 times sometimes 5 times for basic things. The prices also change depending on what mood their in, I've only been here a handful of times and got the same thing all the time and I got a different price each time, They where recently closed by the board of health for a few days last week so not that it matters I stopped going a while back because the staffs attitude isnt worth it bit that was the last straw.

Solid deli with good sandwich and food options

By far one of the worst run delis in NYC. The staff is rude and there food is poor quality for the prices they charge.

Good food, less expensive than other eateries in the surrounding area but if you're using credit/debit make sure you pay attention because on 2 different occasions they have weighed in double the food being purchased and when questioned, they knew exactly how much to deduct

Although this is not the worst deli I have ever been to, it certainly holds a position for one of my top 5. I have been coming to this place for years and holding back my opinion of it thinking it would get better but it has not. Although this place has great fruit, salad and beverages, the employees, especially the two guys at the deli, have not changed their attitudes. On numerous occasions I have seen them arguing with customers and getting orders wrong. These employees do not value customer service or their own jobs. I still don't understand how the owners of this business continue to employee these guys, I guess they must be paying them at a bargain wage because anywhere else these guys would be fired in a heartbeat. I observed a customer ask for a ham, egg and cheese and get a bacon, egg and cheese and the deli guy started arguing that the customer said bacon. As the rest of the line sided with the customer, the deli guy refused to correct the order as if customer was to take the incorrect order or step aside. This is the kind of attitude you will see in this place. Stay away from this deli if you have short fuse, it seems they are chasing people away to get them to spend more next door as the same owners, with the same products / generic cold cuts and inflated prices, now have a new deli next door. Can't go wrong with the food cart on the corner of Broadway and 39th Street next to the fruits and Chase Bank.

Horrible breakfast. Very poor and rude service by the "chef". I liked the coffee but sure way not enough. Won't be returning.

Good deli. The avocado salad is my favourite.

I am a fan but really wish they used paper to-go containers I/o plastic!! its such a waste and makes me not want to go here very often. The place is clean and the food is fresh. good choices of hot food, salad, soups, and sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Again just with they didn't use plastic containers or else I'd go there more.

Excellent deli. Best prices in area. Love my breakfast sandwiches. Great healthy/affordable options for lunch - salad bar and hot food (of course there are indulgences as well). Fast, no frills. Happy this place exists in overpriced Midtown madness!

This is literally one of the worse delis I've ever had the non-pleasure of working by. Whenever I order a sandwich (which is always just like 3 ingredients) they manage to get something wrong and your sandwich will always be at least $3 more than what is specified on their overhead menu, this is pre-tax mind you.

Back when my office was next door, this was my go-to bagel place. It can be a little busy in the morning and hard to get he deli's attention to make an order, but it usually doesn't take very long once you've got the order in and the coffee is decent. The price is good, you can get a large ice coffee and a bagel with cream cheese for about $5.
