I purchased a chicken sandwich here a couple of days ago, and the man at the counter handed it to me cold. I asked if he'd please warm it up, as the place has many multiple ovens, and warming up animal meat is protocol for ingesting food that will not get you sick. He refused. He said "We don't do that here." The woman working next to him overheard this and offered to warm it up for me, but he insisted to her that he would not allow it. I asked for my money back and will never patronize this place again for the rude man that refused to help a customer even when his coworker offered to help. He's literally standing in the way of good service. Someone like that makes an establishment's reputation suffer. Horrible.

As other reviewers have noted, the bread used in some sandwiches is rock hard. I decided to give Olive's another try and ordered a salad ($20 with added chicken), but was again disappointed by the lack of care and attention to their pricey food. The chickpeas were straight from a can, not toasted or seasoned, could've just stopped at the bodega down the street. Very nice staff though.

Grabbed a breakfast sandwich here which was priced at approx $12 - pricey for what you get which is a pretty plain tasting BEC. Maybe their other sandwiches are better to try.

I got the Olive’s Hero, and in my opinion it’s a zero. The bread is so hard for a sandwich like this, and the combination of these ingredients just creates a bitter and very bland taste. There’s nothing to balance out the sourdough, tapenade, etc. These ingredients just don’t go well, and it’s just a bad sandwich. I’d steer clear of this one, maybe try something else on the menu. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
